    Well, ur metal grill with a padlock should secure ur home before anyone has access to the wooden door. Anyway, by drilling and cutting the wood around the latch on the small leaf panel will easily gain access..

    Option 2 is better and cheaper. You will find it hard to clean oil stains on sandblast glass surface. Option 2 allows u to renew the film when necessary

    I give u an example of calculation item 2: 12ft of feature wall requires a min of 4 pieces of laminate. 4 piece of plywood. (8ftx4ft.) so can calculate the costing. give it a max of $100/pc of laminate or plywood. carpenter pricing are always 60-70% over the cost. BUT given the labour crunch, levies (each foreign worker $950).... I guess u have got no choice to pay and bargain for a overall small discount. hope this helps. and BTW, soft closing hinges only cost a dollar a piece (each wardrobe door 3pc, top cabinet 2pc)...so don't be mislead on the pricing.

    Replacing the valve only cost a few dollars, but u have to find spare parts that is of correct length. so most will rather replace the entire tap.

    Cornice is abt $2 per foot run. Doesn't goes well with modern design, but useful if you are hiding wires behind cornices.

    I have 4 ariston 25L in my house and I will not recommend anyone to buy this brand. I have claimed warranty for all 4 units and they are starting to fail again. Tank leaks! I am in the process of renewing all my storage tank heaters to Joven.
