haha, yrs will come really soon!! i think the longest waiting time is between the finish tiling to start of carpentry coz this two can see the most changes.. the rest like false ceiling, painting, plumbing, electricals though is very important but has neglible visual changes.. hehe..

but if-if-if get married than the flat got to transfer name lor, right? more ma fan ma, y don't want to put under parents name directly? no la, its not werid, just different point of view. which is good coz for those that thinks differently, we learn something new. my blog also cannot display lor, keep error-ing. i give up liao, i blog in my t-chat blog suar!

no worries, i not the most li hai at advices and tips la.. *blush* sourcing for everything yrself will be so tiring lor.. i almost giving up on my sourcing liao.. today go IMM find mattresses for the umpteen time still haven't buy.. *sighs* so u gambatte ya!! my hubby did the painting with some friends that time.. i think for guys ok la, they joke, they paint, they drink, they eat, they joke, they paint.. so he had fun lor.. as for bubbles or not that smooth i find it not really lei, perhaps is the paint people use that have this problem.. buy the paint with the roller and the roller plate so that you roll the roller on the roller plate then the roller don't pick up too much paint.. er, don't know you understand not.. haha.. same lor, my ikea chest of drawers also sag in the middle until the drawers all cannot close properly.. pek cek.. then ikea study table also abit sink in the middle.. and my ikea clothes hanger gave way!! for my bulky items, we asks the bangalas working as cleaners at my house to come up to my house to dismantle and throw.. give them abit of money ($10) they happy to do it!!

they see girl think don't know anything (er, true for me la) so try to 'ka'.. just curious, how come you not buying new flat coz of marriage and stay with yr bf-maybe-soon-to-be-hubby?

iEasy R109 Remote Laundry Hanger - $690 Finally bought this after considering for the longest time as rumours is that it spoils easily. But since laundry occupies a horrendously amount of time in my married life (without maid) so felt that if it helps to make it more enjoyable, its ok to spend abit more. I used to ask hubby to take down the clothes and hang up the clothes coz he is 1.9m tall. With this, he says he is declaring 10 years leave from doing that. Wa lau, what about all the folding and ironing which is the siong part? MEN! Thought I could get it installed next week but the boss says out of stock, earliest installation date should be around 18 June (next shipment). So long! Vincent still tell me to ask them to install before the handover so he can do the necessary touch up if they scratch the ceiling or something. Bo bian, guess got to do it after handover, I hope nothing goes wrong. The boss is one rude man though, was yelling at another customer on the phone when I was there. But I do not know where else got sell. Hais..

he trying to earn extra lor coz i bet govt projects usually the profit margin for them very slim one.. call him and if no use, tell him you will complain to hdb to change contractor!!

maybe you can ask the contractor to give u a schedule? coz sometimes he may plan it not consecutively one.

Hihi, just pop by to look see look see. I love yr floor plan, seems like can do a lot!! And so nice to have a study room, balcony and service yard. These three are my must have when I was looking for a unit but end up getting a 5-rm without any of the above. You can try IMM, they renovated, change the shops on the 3rd floor. I saw some nice dining tables the other day there. OM also has an outlet there and they have quite affordable classy funitures. Any look you are going for? My hubby painted our very own first flat too due to budget. And we bought all our furnitures from Ikea. But after using for 6 yrs, I find its not really made to last. They are good for their accessories, utensils, decors I find but not furniture. But I still buying their laundry system la! Hehe~ Slowly gather more ideas, go flip magazines for inspirations..

One of my most satisfied idea I gave to my ID is this feature wall + room divider + TV console. Actually I did not think of it myself la, another ID suggested this when I was sourcing for IDs and I really liked it. My most most most proud part of this whole carpentry is having the front part to be straight so that it looks clean and simple whereas having the protuding part of the TV console behind the feature wall instead turning it into a ledge for me to put some decor/photo frames behind to spice up my study room. My ID added in the shelves on the sides of the console so that its more functional. Still unfinished, its supposed to be in black glass on the front and back with flowery laminated doors for the shelves doors to match my MBR wallpaper. Looking forward to everything being completed next week (I hope). Sofa delivering on 25 May so ID working towards that date. He has arranged for partial cleaning on Friday so when I went yesterday to take a look, the place is pretty cleaned up. Nice! And ExCiTeD..

i think hp token is for ocbc only lei.. dbs (where i work) and hsbc (where i used to work) must use the stupid token only.. so troublesome lor.. haha, with lights at night its a different feeling and mood hor.. so u staying there now liao??
