Can Single Owner Sell Away The Hdb Flat?
applefreak replied to tweetie76's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
dun think so lah for tenancy in common, it will depend on who the deceased owner will the flat to e.g. husband and wife each own 50% of flat husband deceased and leave 1/3 of his share to wife and two children so wife now holds 4/6 while each child holds 1/6 of the flat they can opt to sell the flat and split the proceeds accordingly or the wife can buy over the 1/6 from each child or one child can buy over 4/6 from wife and 1/6 from sibling -

chong stuff as in designer copies? that's true but how else are we going to afford these nice nice lights? a designer piece goes for thousands of dollars and balestier shops offers similar design at a fraction of the price but if you are going for normal lights i.e. round ceiling lights with cover then jln besar is a better bet

money saving tips not home related can? just realised that if we eat zi char, ordering a $5 plate of hor fun is enough for two so if dun mind eating the same thing, cheaper to order for 2 same goes for the tiong bahru pig organ soup, cheaper to order $5 bowl and share amongst two person home related one is curtain rod, standard 140cm - cheapest will be the ikea one. finial plus bracket plus rod only $1.90. white colour metal rod and bracket with white plastic ends

maybe you can ask for hob & hood, sink for kitchen but depends on the brand given by the ID loh if you dun like free also no point as for bathrooms, usually it's the bathroom accessories 7-pc set sometimes can also ask for certain things to be free e.g. extend inlet/outlet, install lights, free water heater etc

dun think can use the edge to sharpen knives leh it's round mah but dun think granite can achieve the effect TS wants it's got to be customised to be an L-shape before fixing it onto the cabinets so only acrylic or quartz can do it

Nice Hawker Food
applefreak replied to karen77sg's topic in Food Catering and Good Food In Singapore
but hor, if you go to the AV stall you'll see the pix of the depot rd stall then the guy inside the pix is at the AV stall leh think the old couple retired liao so passed the stall on to their helper it's really other stalls i'd recommend 1. ABC market - claypot rice. the fruit drink stall opposite also not bad 2. margaret drive market - second floor claypot rice and guo tie (gyoza). first floor western food 3. bukit merah view - western food (wild wild west). the coffeeshop nearby (blk 115) tian tian hainanese curry rice 4. Alexandra village (bukit merah lane 1) - the claypot laksa as mentioned, the indian rice next door, the chin chao drink two stalls away, and the vegetarian food along the same stretch 5. hong lim food centre - ground floor is curry chicken noodles and bak kut teh, second floor is char kway tiao (outram park), fish soup, almond soy bean milk, hakka zi char, porridge (only open after 9pm, morning sells roast meats), bak chang 6. lagoon food centre - love the satay bee hoon and the beef noodles there not bad 7. jln beseh food centre - two beef noodles stall on the ground floor not bad got leh, the next door one got sell dry one shifted to a coffeeshop at crawford lane if you go to that area, check out the hakka yong tau foo at the food centre the FC there got one snake temple with a giant python one tiong bahru market - pig organ soup and prawn mee. but the prawn mee always sold out by lunch time !! zion rd food centre - there's a stall that sells fried fritters, got cheese fish cake etc. quite not bad and different from usual fried stuff -

yes me using granite countertop initially had wanted to go for tiles but think the grout lines will be a problem and using granite countertop will further 'camouflage' the concrete support
-
wooo your place is looking real good with most of the stuff in am sure your feature wall will look very good with the tv up
-
welcome to renotalk hope to see more pix of your renovation progress
-
the only problem with cutting on the granite countertop is your knives will become blunt in no time
