hello fteocs hmmm... u may wanna reconsider that 5 choices of paint is enough...altho the theme is monochromatic, u might wanna try different shades of white and grey to make the monochrome more interesting...juz a suggestion tho... !! as for the squarish sleek sofas i like massimo the most...but dunno can afford it anot...

i find selecting tiles an exciting process..cos the tiles kinda determine the general look and feel of the hse...so where did u buy the tiles frm? !!

hello fteocs monochromatic scheme is my favorite really...some say it may be too cold looking, but i think itz very interesting and u dun have to wreck ur brain on which colour suits which colour. i guess ur house will be minimalistic and monochromatic with clean and sleek lines....sounds classy. looking forward to seeing the pictures man!

For me im not VVVEEERRRYYYYY "pang tang" wan...but my wife is quite particular lah..so i juz follow loh...today i juz kena from her when i say wanna slowly slowly shift in stuff during 7th month haha...so bobian have to wait loh haha... so as u can see...i bochap one...so i kinda dun have much advice to give u i dunno as yet where to purchase the electrical stuff...but got some models in mind liao...sounds like u got lobang?

Hey hey Tim_chenie, Thanx again for sharing! Will check that out later dude. Yeah i think itz better to be more accurate when it comes to moving in date. Wah but 25/08/07 kena 7th month u ok with it meh? Here are some pics that was taken on Fri...day 26 of the reno... part of the ceiling painted in Glacier Grey by Dulux...this is only the base paint so colour is not so even yet... Main door grille installed Bi-fold for master bedroom toilet...panelling is black and white...the white seems a bit pinkish becos the protective film is not taken off yet... window grilles done... master bedroom toilet...toilet bowl and basin installed... closer look at basin tap... leafy leafy tile for the master bedroom's toilet... and here are some pics taken today. pebblewash was laid on today also... Pebblewash that was laid today... common toilet now... common toilet bi-fold... and the one thing that im really looking forward to being laid...the laminate flooring for the bedrooms... so the list of things left to be done are: - lay laminate flooring for bedrooms - all carpentry - installations of lights - installation of toilet accessories + kitchen sink and facet things left to be bought b4 we can move in are: - fridge - washing machine - sofa - blinds - mattresses - various "chap pa lang" electrical stuff (vacuum rice cooker etc)

Hi Tim_chenie Nah did not consult any FSM...not dat i dun believe in FS...but juz dat i'm like kinda bochap person lah...if wanna consult FSM scully he say layout must be like this and like dat i dun like how? then know no good liao i dun follow everyday think bout it ...follow liao then dun like layout everyday go home see already ...so never consult loh...juz do and try not to break the major FS no-nos loh haha... The plate with the oranges, incense and kueh is juz something we did as offering to the "Tu Di Gong" a few days before reno...kinda like keep "Tu Di Gong" informed that reno gonna start and prayed for family peace and harmony loh...juz a very simple ritual lah...and yeah we also took the incense and go to all corners of the house and kinda prayed loh...this one is taught by my wife's dad and some of her friends... Looking forward to more pics!
