To each his own - As long as you are happy with what you purchase. Having said that, I always felt that Bose does a good job of marketing but frankly you are paying a lot more for the brand than anything else! For me I am happy with my floor standers, surround speakers,etc which I have bought a few years back.

Really? PD that juts into kitchen but open in the hallway/door position? Need to go find the pinnacle design and see... I can only say thank goodness my upcoming (but still a few years to wait for) place layout is to what I can be happy with (of course not happy with the size of the place coming from a larger size area currently) - nice layout without weird corners and space; no long corridor. The kitchen size however... sigh... then again everyone else's kitchen is that small as well.

Actually no. I looked at the price, decide to wait for warehouse sale... So went around looking at other things and saw some build-in ovens thar are being sold at very low pricing Then, we were still early, went over to modern home exhibition... Got a very comfortable chair for living room from there. Saw hiddenbed there, interesting concept... But after thot, bed is very important to get good sleep... So that's out of the plan...

Mother would like to try making our own bread but I don't think we would do that much of pizza anyway, we are not really pizza fans. The reason I am looking at vitamix is that, according to the demo videos I have seen on their website, we could use it to grind our own flour, mixing for cakes, as well as it kneads the bread dough, among other normal blending stuffs. Heck it even can cook soup. Sounds good to me...
