  1. Ah, you went over to JB tampoi or somewhere else to buy? Ok, then I need to look for cheaper ones here.
  2. Where got atas? If atas, would have bought Bosch or Die Dietrich liao!
  3. I bought Brandt, and it cost twice as much as yours for my 2 domino hobs and oven! But the oven is the Pyrolytic Oven so more ex.
  4. You are one of the few that I know off is laying data points and tv point via the floor. The rest of them have been telling me to convert those RJ-11 to RJ-45.
  5. Huh? But ID should know that you are getting citigas to pull in the pipe mah, so should have arrange with you to ensure citigas pull in pipe before measurement is done what... This is very basic leh - very weird. Maybe you stress him too much that he forgot... hahahahaha My ID ask if I am doing gas hob, and I was having one gas hob, and then say must get the gas pipe in first before the carpentry measurement can do leh.
  6. I not so hardworking as you. Meet 5 ID/contractors and got 1 initial quote over email from another ID which I don't think I want to go with but juat wanted to see how much $$$ they would ask for. Btw,which Bosch oven you bought?
  7. Excellent! Ok, I am set to get this. Just need to know when it is available on sale! Haha.
  8. No wonder you got so many vouchers!!! I went IT show to see the locks/robot cleaners, end up in HN and $$$ gone from wallet. Put down deposit for hobs and oven! I am beginning to spend like you do!
  9. Ah... Bro, see you posting your reno here, eh? Good , good, can follow here.
  10. So you got a Mi Robot too? Does it do more than 1 room ah? I am contemplating to buy the Mi Robot, but not sure if it only cleans 1 room...
  11. Normal one, like those Gardiner or Sunshine type - not rustic or soft type. Don't think it's the oven, but I am using my combi-oven to bake. I also failed with bread maker lor!!! Borrowed my friend's bread maker and follow the instructions in the manual, but still comes out bad! So I am hopeless with bread making!!!
  12. My kitchen according to floor plan size is slightly smaller than 3100 x 2800 (since part of the wall that meets the common bathroom eats into this space), it will be a challenge too. Not forgetting the BS door opens into the kitchen as well near to the kitchen door... So not much bigger than yours lah.
  13. Oh... Ok. Yeah no one says you can't, just that it's a bit easier to have someone to take care of it, unless you are very good with make up/hair... Photo taking - NZ is anywhere also nice, so you just have to plonk yourself and adjust; can work, just need to go back and forth from the cam, unless your cam can be remote viewing using something else, like ipad or something.
  14. For my case, it's not so much of "zhor deng" - I can still take it lah although it would be nice to have more space, but it's the extra cleaning I have to do with the (louvre) windows and that door. Since I am going to put windows at the SY, I might as well remove these so that I don't have extra things to clean! More light to the kitchen too! Oh.. Ok. Hiaz... I am doing with my current combi oven and some turns out ok, some don't, but overall it was ok. Failed with bread, so never try croissants - all bread I make are so dense, that it's not really bread to me! This will be my first huge oven, so want to find something that will not given me problems (like I have to turn it around half way through the bake because it's hotter inside and all that).
  15. Er, I only read no hacking of flooring in bathroom, have not seen anything about kitchen. I will be asking for removal of the windows and door at the kitchen/SY part, so I will be submitting that for approval. Thought of having the whole wall hacked, but then I was told the warranty on the flooring for both kitchen and SY will be gone, so decided to to remove the windows and doors only. @matchalatte since you are a baker, what build-in oven are you getting? I am still deliberating on which one should I get and don't seem to be able to make up my mind! LOL! I don't have one at the moment but would like to have it in my upcoming BTO flat, so really looking around, and asking around... Most of my friends say Bosch.
  16. Tried to PM you on 48" and 44" ceiling fans for living room and bedrooms, along with LED lights but looks like your message box is full. Could you PM the details? Thanks.
  17. Thanks! But I can't really see the writing on cable in the wall to confirm it's cat 6 and not cat5e. However, there is a possibility that it's cat 6, since one photo did show some plastic separator in the centre of cable which is only available in cat 6 cables. That would be good news as no need to lay new cat6 lines, although I would have gone for cat 6a instead of cat 6 if I need to lay the cables. The only thing is they are retiring the "analog" phones. So if there is an issue with your fibre exchange, it also means you got no phone to use too!!! Whereas in the older areas where "analog" is still available, your fiber exchange will not affect the phone.
  18. You could just google for Design 4 Space and look at the AMK branch number and call to ask for him.
  19. Would you be able to take a photo of the internal of the metal box? And is there any circuit map/drawing for the telephone wiring - which may be able to tell what kind of cables they are actually using? This is the 2nd time I have heard that they are using cat6 cables, but no one seems to be able to confirm it.
