    Hi,I had just signed up with him thus can't feedback on the quality of his work yet. What i can feedback is he is very prompt in his whatsapp reply and on time for all appointments. He even meetup at our current place in the west. His quote is reasonable but not the cheapest and he gives practical advice. You can request to view his current projects which we did.

    Hi Lidyan, The quotes I got are not cheap, its the very 1st post i posted. Mcmoo got a cheaper quote. Btw I have given up hope of finding a cheap quote. Actually i did came across a cheap quote whom this contractor quoted me verbally for $6+K when i visited his project but then his workmanship is not good.

    Oh no no...is not your contractor. Is a contractor who said he had 20 over projects in rivergrove but we found his design a bit old fashion. My hubby noticed the reason for the toilet bowl been located so near the sink is because to ensure the veneer door can swing open without hitting the toilet bowl. Lucky for u to find the sink which we also intend to change as the hdb one looks so small. Oops got it wrong for ur kitchen. So ur fridge will be placed opposite the sink?

    Hi lucidacid, May i know what ideas you have for your mbr toilet? We managed to get a peep at one of the contractor showflat and found the toilet bowl is very close to the sink. Not sure if a sink cabinet can go in. I like ur kitchen idea. I am also going with no top cabinet at sink and hood area cause heat and water cause problem for my top cabinet in my current flat.

    But the above quote is the cheapest i known so far. Some companies are offering labour + prepacked screed at $7-8 per sqft without tiles. Is the introduction of this prepacked screed that mark up the cost so much.

    Thanks for replying. But tiling is no longer cheap due to the pre-packed screed. I got quotes from 7.5 - 8K for tiling. Laminates is waterproof? But require more effort for maintenance? How much is the rate for laminates? For laminates I can appeal HDB for free screeding so probably can save $$$ there if opt for vinyl / laminate.

    I agreed with u on the std price for the pre-packed screed, and i put the question to hdb. I was told there are a lot of suppliers for this screed and some are under hdb and some are not. They say if they are to control the pricing the cost will pass to consumers, us. But without controlling the pricing all these cost are still pass to us. Dunno what they talking abt. So hdb ask me to get more quotes to compare.But why hdb still can offer low cost flooring for new bto flats. My parents just book a 3rm bto flat completion date in 2018. Flooring is 3.5k.
