  1. Oh! okay then, Im waiting to see the completed pics.
  2. Woo u using what source to upload? Can't wait to see the pics.
  3. From JW to airport is about 25+ bucks. So add in the other charges(if going by "midnight" charges or booking charges), i think yours will hit less than 30+ compared to angelwrath? That time I take cab to airport for my BKK flight in the morning. about 7plus i think) The charge is around there
  4. Though the reno works will have to hold first, I think you can buy your most impt items first now that midway into the reno + you already painted the rooms I assume? Can even arrange to schedule delivery for the items to arrive since almost all can hold for a few weeks to a few months till delivery.
  5. Hehehe I think diva got the blogs mixed up. She referring to Weixiaobao's situation with BSC over 250 for something he shouldn't be paying for. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...=14304&st=0
  6. waaaaa sooo nice your kitchen & your place. Envy le cos you got a very nice kitchen island.
  7. so who chose the tiles btw? Ya dangerous to wear skirt go your place, somemore if wear colourful underneath reflected on the tiles, oh no.
  8. hmm is candyprincess referring to clear film, those kind pasted on windows? Anyway I think your reno cost won't go so high since there's no hacking, tiling works. But you're doing a number of carpentry works though which is more ex. Be sure to check your place is free from any defects first before you do the reno.
  9. keke tell me more about it after attending the landmark forum course? :notti:
  10. very nice place you have. Seems your place is adequately furnished with a kitchen fitted with the necessary fictures, the bathrooms complete with fixtures and the wash basins look good. Oh ya and wardrobes in the rooms too. No need to change anything, save more money also.
  11. the tv console looks really nice with the curved area. However I'm thinking that adding short curved shelves instead of feature above the tv console to give it a de-constructed look might look more special. I like the MBR TV Console no 3
  12. Wow even the curvy part extends till nearly to the curtain part. But if its close to the curtain area, it wouldn't be a problem to take down the curtain for washing without hitting that 2nd curved area?
  13. It sounds like your boss is one heck of a good motivator and boss from the way you say it. Ya Dale Carneige's books are quite interesting, read a few of Dale Carneige's books before but can't help feeling that its more like research & psychological assessment at times. Not everyone is able to understand those techniques that your boss is saying about, let alone speak the same lingo if the heart is not there to understand the depth of it. Even simplifying things wouldn't help. Thats why there are role model examples which people look up to learn from. Im curious what would you learn from the landmark forum course though.
  14. I have this problem too. I have zip-locked the sweets ie; icing sugar which I use for my baking and other baking chocs already but as long as you have rubbish around in plastic bags before throwing out, ants will still be attracted to it. There are a few alternatives in the market like Bugs Kill paper, ants and cockroach repellent pellets or chalk. But better still, zip-lock or store away any sweet stuff in air tight bags/containers.
  15. Post more of your reno progress too. Waiting to see how your country theme will turn out Sometimes you can opt not to do certain things for the kitchen carpentry which is what I did for my kitchen. You can find other alternatives to complete the look if its over budget.
  16. Don't worry about this. At least your ceiling problem will be fixed and you get a new ceiling. At the very least you dun have to pay for the ceiling which is one load off but I suppose that comparing the cost for the new ceiling, I think the cost of paint for the ceiling is not high. Just take it at a step for your reno process. Everyone at a time or so will encounter hiccups along the way. So sit back relax and focus your attention on what you need to get instead.
  17. can the roaches and ants chalk be bought anywhere os specifically at a location only? where to buy it? Btw, I bought the Bugs Kill paper mentioned by the others earlier on, at sheng siong for under 2.50. Haven't put out the paper yet cos cannot put food utensils and other types of utensils on the paper directly.
  18. my condolences to you, summerholiday. Dun fret. Im sure your didi will be happily playing up there without no worries. Its said that feelings can be expressed through the weather a sorta way from the rainbow side. I know it sounds a bit stupid this way though. As animals are nature loving, I honestly feel that keeping in touch with nature's moods is a means of keeping in contact deep inside the heart as a memory. Cheer up. Im sure he has lived a happy life in your home.
  19. We did mention quite sometime ago, a few guys as new age husbands whom help out with house chores when they can. Mr Max383 is one example, right ranval? You remember that? Can count you in as another new age husband hurhur
  20. hey, just notice you bought mistral heater. I also have a mistral heater but not the same model. The only thing about it is that its supposed to give you hot water according to the sales person. However after installing the mistral heater, i find that got to really adjust the water pressure to really low then can get hot/warm water. So better check if the mistral heater will produce hot water in high-low water pressure if you're particular about the water pressure when showering.
  21. Who knows, you probably get another surprise for ur bday on your BKK trip? You never know when to expect the least.
  22. You heard of Dale Carneige's courses before? Their courses are similar to chicken soup but more closely linked to religion + heart with psychological analysis sometimes as reference. And there's these few types to define people accordingly to their personality. I can only remember one of these types, that is 'sanguine' though. Actually if I were to put it down with landmark forum courses, I wouldn't say they're on a par because Dale's mostly concentrated on emotional aspect of motivation while I believe landmark's is more directed towards hardcore aspect of motivation. Like sales prep talk something like this. I think your boss felt it might bear fruit on those who supposedly gain something out of it 'cos it benefits company growth, performance? Hehehe honestly, i wouldn't want to go even if i get a day off, i rather keep my weekends free & pockets no hole also.
  23. That is really creative, looking at your 3 D drawing. But one thing about it is the maintenance for the period you be living in your place? Won't dust accumulate with time right?
  24. Do we see a potential MR New Age Guy who's ok doing house chores? kekeke
  25. In FS, its not good to have wedding photo directly on the wall where the bedhead rest against. So end up having my wedding portrait on another wall in the room instead. For merging a few pics into 1 portrait, this is actually done using PS software. If your bridal shop does 3 in 1 pose pic, you can request for it
