Platform
BunBun replied to jetfire's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
Jetfire, you can try systemind if they're within your budget. They have those zen like platform which consist of squares that are mainly for storage and sometimes a table that's hidden within.. Only can be opened up with a rubber knob that can be removed and fixed into another square to open. Saw this at millenia walk before. Here's the link below. http://www.designtray.com/product.htm -
Ranval, his name is summer. I think oreo not interested in girls yet. I'm not great to be idolised, there people greater than me and definitely worth idolising

The crowd at the IT Show is really scary esp when going down the escalator. Can really bump into people infront when escalator moving down fast. WD and maxtor brands worth getting also. The latest price i saw was at 109 and payable in cash only but not sure how many GB as it was very crowded there. Only got some computer stuff in the end

Congrats on your renovation start! Do post more picts of your renovation progress. Full leather sofa needs some regular maintenence so got to take care esp if you have pets. If your renovation ends in time for sofa to fnish that is, otherwise you might have to hold back delivery date. What you need to do is get sink, tap, cooking hob & the hood first since need to measure and allocate space for those in your cabinets. The rest can be done slowly.

Hmm, if not enough, you might want to consider doing full height one. Mine is not full height but about 6.4 ft width & almost 7ft in height if i remember right. 'Cos I used the measuring tape. Usually measuring tape has both ft and m/cm thing on it. For L-Shape wardrobe, if you want to do in sliding doors, then i can give you a small suggestion. Don't know if it will be feasible. Maybe you might want to do sliding doors till the corner point of the wardrobe where the rest of the wardrobe will be in casement type doors. I think I saw a similar one somewhere but cannot remember where I saw it before.

Hey christine, thanks! Just saw your email.

Ya done by an electrician who has some knowledge of piping as well which in this case is sufficient enough to install small jobs compared to calling for a plumber for serious problems.

We wouldn't know about this manufacturing bit. But one thing is for sure. If they manufacture to sell to others, then this co should be a big co by then instead of a small furn co considering singapore is very very small leh. Imagine the moolah going into their pockets from the orders required. Though I wouldn't mind having more of that moolah coming into my pocket best. !!

I feel very very tempted to get the armchair. keke but is it an adult armchair cos it is too cheap to believe. 39 for it compared to other places selling it for 100 to 200+

Whoa, noticed in one post in this thread on silver river. If i remember right, some forumers had problem with this company then. Im not sure about their service now. Keitong: The way you shop for sofa is a bit amusing 'cos it all parallels to the 'upsizing' and 'downsizing' budget for the . But good to hear that you got your sofa. One forumer bought a sofa from home2be and it is a L-Shape one. Very nice! I'm sure your sofa is nice, so waiting for pics of it.

Rustgal17: I think I saw a couple of shops which also carries a lot of art supplies and art canvas in orchard. Can't remember the name of the shops but its in Ngee Ann City, should be 1 or 2 floors above the old orchard NLB there. Many students go there including some ID students. You can try those see if they're any cheaper. Alternatively you can source from JB. I know there are 1-2 shops selling art supplies like that. Drilling is the better way to hang heavy paintings. I also have an oil canvas painting for dining area and the guy install it for me using the drilling + nails. So far no problem as well.

That is the bidget spray hose as mentioned earlier on. Have one in the MBR Toilet but we didn't do the installation though. We got the electrician who also install the bidget spray for us besides the lights & heaters. I think you need to get a drill and drill bits besides screws, and since it has to be connected to the pipe, it is better you get someone who is better at connecting pipes for the water.

Apple, Beng Tuan got this hand armchair right? But hubby don't like this kinda model which is also available at other shops. He say the seat area is not comfy. Is beng tuan's armchair also hard at the seat area?
-
Sure or not? I wouldn't know about sheepcat. Cats are also territorial leh.

Latest update on nova's service: Nova's carpentry guys came today exactly a week after the shoe cabinet & sofa bed arrived. The main focus was the shoe cabinet actually as posted in my earlier post on the problems highlighted. The guys spent some effort trying to fix the alignment of the doors and it is fairly decent. But the marks on top was filled in by dark walnut marker. Seeing that makes me a bit sian & wonder why we'd paid a bit for just a 3 door shoe cabinet? My only grouse is that shoe cabinets are a tad pricey in the range of 100-300plius with those generic furniture shops like Defu, Nova and etc. And we pay for them expecting good condition on delivery no questions asked. I know I am a little particular about certain things and this is just one of them. Service wise, nova has been prompt in after sales service and we did not have any unpleasant experience with them which is considered good, compared to the other experiences a few forumers have. But whether we'd buy furniture from nova again or not depends on whether what we want to get but for big items, no.

We did consider epoxy paint for kitchen & toilets when we'd first saw our place in its bare condition back then. Kitchen tiles is in seagreen colour and I was wondering why so different cos both showflat & sample unit have a light grey blue colour for kitchen tiles which was acceptable. Turns out that HDB ran out of the colour and used this seagreen colour.. While it may be nicer to do epoxy paint primary cos of colour choice, the added waterproofing and saving more money in the long run since no need to hack or overlay. The thing about epoxy paint is the feedback we got from my hubby's colleague who says that epoxy paint can peel off after a short while.

Still up so late ah? Not sleeping tonight? I still think most shih tzus have flat snout and ur donut don't have a flat snout. Probably a crossbreed As for Oreo, i think yorkies and silky terriers are most likely cousins. kekeke
-
This, I'm not sure leh, Oreo did strike me as a silky terrier at first since there's one in my place now. My hubby say that silky terriers when they're young pups, outlook is a little ugly abit like the way oreo looked like when he was really small in taiwan. But they get cuter and better looking when they're bigger after that. Just asked my hubby about this. he say yorkie and silky terrier are almost the same.
