  1. Hmm Im not so sure about it 'cos I've used champs water heater which is of the older generation and it is really hot even at high water pressure. It even proves to be good for warming esp on a cold day. I think it has something to do with the fact that new products dun really make it with high water pressure in comparison to older models somehow.
  2. Can paint in those colours better and even better add a touch with frosted or clear glass wall lamps or keep things very minimalistc so that the feature wall will stand out even more with the rest of the walls in white. Just an idea.
  3. I think the zig-zag one looks a little shiny but should be okay to go with the shoe cabinet. Im wondering how it looks overall.
  4. Sure! I update you latest by fri or sat morning earliest? Confirm will be tagging with you and apple.
  5. Not bad the carpentry le. Hmm silver and black colour? The silver pattern looks a bit shiny to suit with black considering that the black colour on the shoe cabinet is the glossy type I assume? PS: The wardrobe is very big!! Looks like got enough space for both you and your hubby's clothing.
  6. oh that, nothing's confirmed with her totally 'cos LLhome is too busy to reply my sms which I mentioned you and apple too. Wanted to know if she & her hubby want to tag along with us or go on their own to greycat's place actually? You see the last time LLhome took quite long to reply me was like last saturday when I'd had smsed her to inform her about the outing last monday le. Have to catch hold of her early saturday morning 'cos I think she will be free to respond then since weekends are free for her.
  7. Kekeke I painted the living room, study & passageway ceiling a diff colour. Only the rooms and kitchen ceiling are left untouched.
  8. Wah poor baby, hope the wound gets better.
  9. Yes I got your PM, thanks! Yup summer is going. Hey Greycat, dun think summer is on any supplements now. The only tablets given to him are those anti bad breath one. Summer's breath is not that bad as a knockout one. Glad to hear about Yuki, I don't think it will be an issue cos summer is an old adult doggie. Will check with hubby about summer later cos summer's his doggie. Ya LLhome's been quite busy lately since she got a job, you have her number? Got receive my sms?
  10. Im sure you have a lovely baby and a smooth pregnancy.
  11. Hmm since you checked with the water leakage people, why dun you get their confirmation in paper that its water leakage and show HDB officer?
  12. Np about it, we're all here to share tips and knowledge on home reno.
  13. At least no need to paint again yourself cos HDB will do the painting but must make sure not slipshod too. HDB works aren't that fantastic if you ask me cos all HDB flats have uneven walls cos of the uneven plastering. How I know? Is cos I painted my current place with hubby not too long ago and find that some walls are not evenly plastered so there were light patches of paint when I painted the walls. So have to reapply all over again until colour is even. now you're getting your things ready so no worries about your reno at the moment. Just be sure that the work is done properly by HDB.
  14. Just relax and enjoy what you do. You will be cheerful and happy that way. Life's not easy but you should never make it hard for yourself even more.
  15. ya, take it easy and slowly bluberi. Most impt is SMILE and always be happy cos moods can affect the baby directly. (I dunno how babies can feel the mood when they're cocooned in the womb all d time.) PS: Btw, applefreak & ranval.. Greycat put out a new post in her blog on our outing this coming sat in case you gals didn't see it.
  16. actually i was half listening to my hubby's friend yakking away cos so many stuff to take note from tonic soups to whatnot when having a baby. But not sure entirely since I never had a baby before.
  17. Okay its not a matter of which will be nice since it will be up to your personal preference but u got to consider the pros & cons of carpet vs laminate flooring? Carpet can trap dust and you need to vacuum regularly but vacuuming the carpet will only suck away top dirt but not the dirt buried deeper which requires thorough cleaning if anyone of you is allergic to dust that is Laminate is easier, can vacuum and clean thoroughly but requires proper attention, ie; cannot have water overnight on it / don't use too much water for cleaning only damp cloth, mop will do or else it will warp.
  18. Congrats, blueberi and do take care of yourself & the lil' one. Babies are so adorable It's not advisable for you to travel to BKK in the 1st trimester cos usually the 1st-2nd trimester are considered the bumpy times which requires careful attention. By the 3rd-4th trimester, should be more settled by then. Which is why doctors wouldn't advise on going on trips at this juncture. Also you need to take alot of pre-natal vitamins to keep the body & foetus strong. A friend of my hubby who's expecting told me plenty of stuff to expect when having a baby. PS: Would you be having a baby shower?
  19. Bluberi, you expecting a special little one ah?
  20. How cunning le. Must put up sign : "Please stay away from my floor tiles, you might be inviting colour predators if wearing skirt" :notti:
  21. Wah, then your wife not worried about girls accidentally exposing themselves on the tiles reflection?
  22. Thanks can learn the swirling then. Sure no prob will inform LLhome about it & thanks for the pm! Btw, Ranval.. are we still meeting up first before going to Greycat's place? 'Cos got to co-ordinate with LLhome & her hubby for this sat too.
  23. I see your pebbles so nice. the curve looks good now with the addition of pebbles.
