Special CUTE Tiles for my MBR Toilet!! You paste it over the tile? Can't be available in tiles, right? Cute leh...

I would suggest not to take up HDB $3K ceramic tiling work.. Better to source your own and you can get to choose design/colours you like. I believe yours is 4rm flat? As for the doors, 5 doors is inclusive of 2 doors for the toilets and 3 doors for BRs .. If you are thinking of doing bi-fold doors for toilets, then don't take up the offer.. Coz for me i realise that after i took up OCS for 5 doors, my toilet doors are timber doors...?? Which i think timber doors wouldn't survive long in wet areas... Just my 2 cents worth...

I was told by kronotex sales manager that normal floor cleaning agent is sufficient for mopping floor laminates. I also used sofix laminate once or twice a month. If continuous using of sofix, the laminate surface will/may become glossy. But it is up to individuals, some like the original feeling and etc. Probably some home owners may hv called up to complain?? Parquet - sofix parquet..

Hmm...Tic tac door is mostly used for feature wall where there is no handle for you to open this wall. Usually used for bomb shelter feature wall.. If you want to open it, u just push it and this wall will open a little bit for your fingers to open it.. This is the same as some of the display cabinet glass found in furniture shops... Hope you get what i mean...

Big mega shops like Best, Courts prices are much higher than neighbour shops...If you are considering paying by installment via credit cards or freebies, go for the first. But if you are willing to pay by cash, go for neighbourhood shops. I would recommend Goh Ah Bee at Hougang St 21 or Peace Electrical @ Hougang Central.. call up for price check...

Mandy & Lincoln - Renovating Our First Home
porkypig replied to mmycheng's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Can I ask for some opinions from you guys? What kind of curtains do you think I should put in my MBR? Full-length, half-length, roman blind, roller blind etc..? I have some pics of my room for you to see. There are 2 sets of windows. Bigger window in MBR (windows stretch entirely to the left) Small window in MBR I had similar smaller window as your MBR at my aircon ledge. I did Roman blind just to cover everything.. And some of my friends commented it looks like a wall paper.. And roller blind for BR 2 and BR 3.. I think roman blind or roller blind would look nicer in half lengthor curtains in full length for your bigger window in MBR.. Just my two cents worth.. -

I have a friend who removed all this toilet doors and did a full length feature wall. His toilet is accessible through tic tac doors. I also have the same problem as you. But i did not put a stopper on the floor because i worried that it might damaged the water proofing protection and water may seep through underneath. And also in the long run, the stopper might come loose due to repeatable knocking against it. Thats what happen to all my office door stoppers. Instead i put a door catch, although it wouldn't solve the problem entirely but at least it wouldn't slam towards either way if there is wind. I am also considering replacing the door at a later stage since i have paid for it.

Top Mount Or Undermount Kitchen Sink Is Better?
porkypig replied to simpleguy80's topic in Kitchen & Bathroom
There is no good or bad..It depends on what you prefer.. If you visit shops, many ppl will have their own version of pros and cons Undermount-excess water can be easily sweep back to the sink. It looks better then topmount when installed. But if you want to change the sink if it is damaged, the whole worktop has to be removed. And that is very tedious process. Top mount - sink sits firmly on the worktop..Easily changed if sink is damaged. For me, i go for undermount... -
