  1. 1) Since your floor tiles is uneven, what are you going to do next? 2) How about skirting, is your contractor/id going to refund you?
  2. In the event of both party unwilling to settle, are you paying the tiles again and ask new contractor to redo.
  3. Your house is Design and Build, at where? I also Design and Build. In this case, do you have to re-do all the tiling again? how about your kitchen flooring, bathrooms, are they alright?
  4. Anyone use this REU-8 CG GAS WATER HEATER Any feedback, is it good? I mean by the waiting time? Is it better than storage heater? For this, do we have to lay cold and hot pipe for this?
  5. hm.. I thinking of install this http://www.citygas.com.sg/waterheater/index.htm It stated it specification, max up to 8.0/L , min 3.0/L. Any comments or any one install this before. Have to pay no more free. Between what is the model that is free before.. This one is REU-8 CG GAS WATER HEATER

  7. OK lei but tiles are based on how many psf?
  8. All had their own advantage and dis-advantage. To cut it short, 1) Laminated - resistant to scratches but water resistant is poor (keep away from water is the best). Can overlay. Quite Hollow.. even if the rubber matt is placed. Not for long term, maybe 5-10 years is only 2) Timber Flooring - resilient, no floating feel. Can sand and polished but depend. And is lastable 3) Parquet - quite good water resistant but poor scratch resistant, had to maintainence. Not hollow And is lastable. Can Overlay I learn from many contractors and ID, they somehow tell me like that.. haha. Corrected me if I am wrong
  9. Yes, I received the quotation dude. Was impressed but is there anyone in the forum recently signed up. But I was not happy that they keep telling me, and tried to show me and tell me, to borrow money from RHB bank. I saw IR*S M*nager (IC*) earn how much The fact, they show not disclosed customer details to me.
  10. Actually their design is not bad, seem like I might have to ask my contractor/reno id to do the same design as what I see in bathrooms.sg ,(hope the price is the same)
  11. Can PM me the contractor / ID company and thanks. So I can avoid
  12. PropNex, I think they setup a new legal department. Can you tried to make a phone to tell the legal department about your problem? Just call main hotline, say you want to speak to a legal consultant? No harm, trying.... After this news had launched.. "No More Fixed 2%/1% Commission For Sellers/buyers!, Consumers to negotiate directly with agents." Like more and more ...cases

  16. After thinking for a long times, I switching it to Homogeneous tiles for the living hall/dinning area.
  17. I just keen to know. Is it advisable to do laminated flooring for Living Hall (almost whole house accept kitchen, bathroom, laundry balcony) if we are staying in the flat, let say more than 10 years. I am quite tempted as now Supreme Laminated Flooring only $3.60 psf, somemore grade AC5 not AC3. http://www.supremefloor.com.sg/LaminateFlooring.html
  18. Beside now laminated flooring especially AC5 is cheap (but made in Malaysia) is about $3.4 - $3.8 psf, depend you do living hall.
  19. Is it advisable to do the high gloss series for the living halls. I cannot make decision at moment, whether to apply laminated flooring to living hall or homogeneous tiles... I went Stiles last week.. and this lady named Clement, want to do quotation for me. But I forget to bring floorplan that day... hahhaa.. I even took the renovation package deal paper home for reference... 4rm, 16,888
  20. I was quoted to lay laminated flooring @ $3.40 psf for my bedroom after I told them that Expo Supreme Laminating Flooring charge $3.80 psf which is true. If laminated whole flooring including living hall, than they charge $3.60 psf. Any ideas, is those anti-stain homogeneous tiles better than normal homogeneous tiles? I am confused as they are expensive by $1. The kitchen solid surface top, instead of using normal 40mm, I was qouted the 75mm which claim to be better.
  21. You are not considering using laminated flooring? If you are going to use Parquet flooring, tried to hack the floor, they will lay cement for you. They lay with Parquet. This method will last longer. If you overlay with parquet with the existing flooring, might fear in 5-10 years, the tiles might pop-up, which might be same result like laminated flooring. I was told by many reno id, this will happened. It is not because of the parquet flooring no good, it is fear of the floor tiles might suddenly pop-up. By the way, is it just bedroom or it include living hall??
