research more for finding The One for our specific needs

like thomson suits my needs, but most prob won't suit another person

so we must know what we want, what is available then can make decision right?

haha.. yar.. impt to find The One.. someone u can trust and rely on and wont let you down, even on rainy days. no matter what dirty situation you get yourself into, he can turn your day around by washing all the troubles away and make u look good, feel good, smell good..

yes, it's called Interest-free Payment Plan

actually almost all places offer them

it's just whether they absorb the 5% processing fee or pass it on to you

most of my electrical items from HN coz i want the extended warranty :thumbs up:

Is the extended warranty really that good?

I have bought extended warranties before... but have never excercised it at all.

Sort of feel that it is a little wasted.

oh for me it's really insurance bah

have exercised them before for my panasonic tv

if repair, think the price is the same as the EW for the whole 5yrs

that's 2yrs plus into the usage...

think it'll depend on the item and reliability of the brand

with most production done in third-world countries, i won't be surprised that durability of products are practically non-existant :good:

pple who buy plasma tv lagi got to get EW

can you imagine to replace a 'outted' screen will cost as much as the tv itself :good::P

hehehe me got no money that's why got to make everything last as long as possible :P

i also no money that is why 0% IPP is good :good:

actually is we got limited patience if the appliance required a few repairs, we rather throw and get new one than having to argue with the repairman / company and tolerate days without the appliances

that's also one of the reason why we went to HN

the EW is actually a insurance undertaken by a third party

it's onsite so no trouble like bring down service centre or what

they also provide substitute items e.g. my tv was out so they brought another 29" tv down before bringing my tv back to repair :P :P

hmm... looking at the responses, it is only good to buy the extended warranties if the repair cost exceeds the cost of the extended warranty rite?

Ok... noted. I will take a closer look at it the next time I buy my electronics :sport-smiley-003:
