I called up HDB sales hotline today...

for 5rm Queenstown selection date is between 14-25 May 08.

Each day, around 40 applicants to select their unit..

Doc need to bring , e.g. NRIC, payslip (past 3mths) for both applicants eventho ur HLE approved prio selection and of coz the booking fees...

Abv info is all by verbal conversation...

HDB will send out the detailed doc to us around late April / early May...

Hi, yes, apparently its 15 per day, for the bedok 4 rooms. Had to make a trip down to HDB because of some issues and happened to see the final queue number of the day and it was 15. Hehehe!

Oh God. I notice there is a lot of people who did not go for the selection. I guess they might have see "possbility" of price plunging down.

Wonder should i take the bedok flats now.

By right, it should not exceed 260K mark.

Remember ... this is a new buidling..

I feel that the takeup rate is better than expected, which is good for HDB and bad for us who are waiting to select our unit *LOL*

If cost is a concern, then you'll have to consider your options throughly before making the decision. Yes the prices are a tad high, but then again u have to consider that these units are in an established estate with amenities nearby. You can't compare the prices of Bedok flats with those that are in newer estates right?

Anyway take up rate is around 66% now. Doesn't show much yet. :bangwall:

It can be near to 50% when the good units are taken up. I expect to see lower take up due to

1. Expectancy of price coming down.

2. Better units are taken up.

Yes you are right, only 15 applicant per day. I happened to be the first for Tuesday.

How is the rest? Gotten your flats? As for the size, well we choose unblocked view over size. However, I definitely will move away once my family grow bigger.

Hi all,

I chanced upon renotalk like when i googling for ideas for hdb flats.

i am gg down to hdb tis friday to make a selection, hopefully still haf gd units.

what i nid opinions for those more experienced is, all this buy hse thing is so MAJOR,

its even causing me a major headache. but on one hand very esciting!

i cannot sleep well bcos too anxious for the selection day and keep buggin my boyfie on plans for reno.

any idea what i shld start with? after paying the 2k option fee?

is it,

1. think of what concept for hse?

2. find a contractor?

3.measure anything in the hse?

now, i am coming up with a excel sheet with what items i want to buy for the hse, is tat too crazy or shld focus on reno first?

i am a first timer, got the Q number for our first S$10 down to Hdb.

Hi Raayn, u're really lucky! First try and you got a queue number :yamseng: U'll need to start planning for ur ROM in order to get ur flat. Heehee!

yes, 4rm !

Hi raayn,

you can defer to submit your ROM cert by writing in. You may also show them that you intend to ROM at a later date by attaching the receipts that you signed up with hotel if you intend to solemnized outside Registry of Marriage.
