Our Sweet Little Sunset Way Em

Recommended Posts

My one month leave officially ends today! :P

Glad that most purchases has been either settled or decided!

Can start work without much worries!

The washing machine is sthg which I did not managed to get since day one cos really dun know what to get.

As I do not wish to spend more than 1K on a washing machine, had a hard time deciding bet Asian or int'l brand.

In the end, I have gotten a new LG Direct Drive Front Load Washer Dryer WD-1484ADP (Retail Price S$1799) at Mega Discount Store at S$1088 (with S$50 NTUC voucher & a Lock & Lock Tupperware Gift set worth S$65) today. Heard promotion will officially start this weekend!

Seems like a gd buy. If time can rewind, I think I will buy this too. Really.

Hi Mickey M,

Your house transformation is fabulous!

A lot of reviews indicating LG front load washers are actually not as good as the European ones.

Well, last mon, a salesperson from best denki was recommending samsung - S$699. Guess I wasn't convinced.

The sales at Mega Discount store has done a better job.

Frankly, this is my first time using front load machine. Had been using Jap top load washers for as long as I could remember :P

Hi,

Bought the Clipsal LED Switch @ CCM :)

We spent in total about S$900+ on the whole unit switches, power socket, scv outlet, tel outlet, water heater.

Although very 'xim tier', love the solid "click" on the switches! We must be crazy!

Nice switches. Where did you get these switches from?

Hi MohGuan,

From CCM Toh Guan. They have quite a few outlets all over Sin.

I learnt about it in Renotalk too.

Legrand design is slim and sleek, the one we bought is slightly thicker.

We bought it cos it's more shiok turning the switch with that loud and solid sound! Silly, right?

They are quite flexible in their exchange policy - though no refund policy.

I just went back to do an exchange from 3gang to 4gang - just top up the diff.

Apparently, a lot of contractors get stuff there too.

Happy shopping!

Thanks thanks. Personally, I am not brand conscious for electronic products. Eventually they will all spolit. Hee. I like front load machines for the fact that u can choose to wash clothes using hot water. :)

I looked high and low for a 'no sound' switch and eventually gave up. The only 'no sound' switches are touch sensor ones or control by control panels Not willing to spend such money though.
