My Little Simple White House

Recommended Posts

Hi, how do you access the cables on the TV feature wall? If you want to change or reconnect cables between some equipment on the floor and the TV, how you unplug and plug in the cables?

There is a hole behind the TV. The TV wall mount bracket allows to tilt the TV also. So the cable can be pull out easily. Anyway i have only 3 cables (TV Power, HDMI and network cable) connected to the TV, quite easy to remove and install. :)

So there is also a hole at the bottom of the wall for the cables to run to the power point, network point, AVR?

Do you connect all your input through the AVR via HDMI? Or you use a HDMI switch?

And for the rear surround speakers, how do you run the cables from the AVR to them? Hide under the carpet?

Thanks.

Yes, there is a hole at the bottom of the wall. All input is connected to AVR via HDMI. Only one hdmi connected to the TV. I put trunking at the bottom of the window wall and paint it. Easy to replace in the future and also looks nicer. :)

I like your white house very much - how i wish I can reno my house like yours..but too bad i can't as I got 3 kids to handle and white is definitely a NO No (since my gal only 13 mths old).

Yoz, your house transformation is v nice. Things blend in well. Only thing is higher white maintenance but is worth the effort. Im a minimalist myself, so i think an overall house-cleaning gets so much easier as compared to a contemporary style.

Can u pm me the quotation. Thanks. :)

For the kitchen cabinets, how do you open it? I dont see any handle slots, is it like press-in then it will pop out kind?

Thanks sccy2! My gal loves white, clean, pink stuff, so she will try to maintain the house at white condition, no problem for me so far. ^_^

Inspired a lot with your reno for your little white house. I am now looking for ID to deco my flat. Can I get your ID info? thx

Finally... All the boxes are clear from the 3rd bedroom. The old Ikea rack is finished setup and shifted my old lounge chair to the room. Phew... finally can sit down and relax in this room. <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hi, Thanks for the compliment. Yes, white is diff to maintain especially high humidity in singapore. I will get one dehudimifier very soon.

The resting chair from Barang-Barang. Its cost around $600 (if i remember correctly) 7 years ago + additional fabric cover. ^_^
