Hi really love ur all white concept and kitchen and I have below questions that need ur advice

1) will the smell and grease affect the living room when u cook? How to prevent that? Normal chimney hood like rinnai brand good enough for open kitchen?

2) understand u painted ur parquet skirting white, but when u mop will the white skirting be dirty? (I also hope to paint the skirting)

3) can u share the website where u bought ur dining light? I hope to monitor for their promo and free international shipping too ^^

Thanks alot!!!

So far i've never encountered any grease affect my kitchen flooring/cabinet, dinning room and living room. We seldom frying, but frying egg no problem at all. My house is quite windy, usually the smell stay for 5-10mins after cooking, so no problem for me.

Recently my wife start like to steam food, she said more healthy, so we utilized the steam oven more than the hob. :)

2) understand u painted ur parquet skirting white, but when u mop will the white skirting be dirty? (I also hope to paint the skirting)

My ID used waterproof paint for the side skirt, very easy to clean. I use the mop to clean the side skirt too. :)

3) can u share the website where u bought ur dining light? I hope to monitor for their promo and free international shipping too ^^

I ordered the Artemide Tolomeo lighting from Interior-Deluxe, price US625 after discount.

Thanks alot!!!

No problem for me to maintain my white house so far, maybe it's still new... hehee, but it quite troublesome to maintain the white leather sofa. I must clean once a week to maintain it at white condition. Lucky the sofa size not big...

Let me find out the tile pictures, i think there is a code and price tag on the tiles. I will post it once i found it.

Cheers!

snob appeal, too posey, and too white to the point of sterility and blandness. and not to mention monotony. too safe to even wanna add some color.

Hi Astarz, Thank you for the comments.

Hi ynwa88,

You've a very nicely done up house.

Can i just enquire something regarding your MBR toilet. I realize that you did not do grouting on one side of the wall (the side with the 300x600 tiles) & i particularly like the effect.

Can I confirm if you intentionally left it that way to achieve the grid line effect?

Thanks in advance!

Jon

Hi Jon,

The tile has 45 degree angle on the side, we purposely did it without grouting to create the effect. I like the effect at night when the light shine on the wall. ;)

Thanks! :)
