Hi All, Wanna check with you guys. For units that are situated near a school and beside MRT tracks. There'll be the noise from the school morning ceremony, etc... noise from the MRT travelling past your home etc.. Is there a way to eliminate or at least minimise the noise level? Does double glazed glass windows do wonders?

Dear forumer Just share my renovation experience... As first time home owners, the renovation process was a new and anxious experience for us. The team from Livinz Synthesis was very patient and supportive in working with us to understand our requirements and budget. We visit our friend house warming and have received recommendations from this friend on the high quality of service from Livinz Synthesis in delivering what was promised. Never regret that we choice him as our ID and thanks him was patient in assisting our requests, even though we often changed our minds. We would like to thank you for his effort in making our house and provided us with a high level of service standard and was able to react promptly whenever we encountered any issues with the renovation works. We was pleased with it and we just wanted to say thank-you! -- Lee Yewern & family:)

I have already submitted the OTP for the puchase of a resale HDB. I understand I have 6 months to sell off my current HDB flat. If any of you have sold off your HDB, can share how long it took? Can include HDB type and location details? Also what if I am unable to sell off in the 6 months period? What will happen?

Isit advisable to have just a single contractor to reno e entire flat? I.e. for flooring, carpentry, electrical, painting, etc... or should I go for individual contractor to reno my flat? I.e. elect contractor, carpentry contractor, painting contractor, buy and own tiles and get someone to lay them. Maybe can reduce the costs while mantaining the same quality of work. Keen to hear your opinions.

Hey guys, Just wanted to know, how soon do y'all start looking for a contractor for a new build? They are building the last level of our block of flats right now, usually, how long more does it take to key collection -- and when should I start looking (like, any milestone to take note of? When the painting is done or something else... etc.) Thank you in advance!

I have an osim, a smaller and more portable vacumn and a handheld one for kids play area. the osim is a pain to lug ard so i think would be good if you invested in another smaller or handheld one. it is never a bad idea to have more storage space if budget permits. we use the yard area to build a large cabinet that extends partially into the 2nd floor. i moved to an em for almost 3 years and unless u regularly dump stuff you will need that space. for some reason there are empty spaces underneath the windows in two of my bedrooms, we have converted that into storage areas as well. the staircase storeroom is quite horrible for storage, small and weird shape.

Moving towards the living room, at the under-the-stairs storage and built-in bookshelf. The under-the-stairs storage (which we are very grateful for). Our Living Room (posted before).
