Hi Everyone! Has anyone done their general washing/cleaning after carpentry, when everything is done and ready for handover? Understand most people do the wash before the carpentry installation; any repercussions if its done after? Thanks!!

Hi, Going to get my 5room BTO keys soon, and I didn't opt for the HDB flooring. I'm interested in both tiles (for the kitchen) and engineered wood/laminate/HERF flooring (for the bedroom). Went to Evorich yesterday and they quoted me $6.95psf for walk in price of HERF, but from some threads here, they seem to be offering it for less. I'm interested in HERF because it's supposedly water resistant compared to laminate, and only marginally more expensive. However, I've also read that they may not be scratch resistant, and may be toxic due to their plastic content? Are there any definitive resources for these information? Other than Evorich, what other companies are comparable in quality and price? (preferably lower priced of course). Also, can any contractor install these flooring, or must they go through Evorich/etc? I've also read about engineered wood, and it seems better in quality and safety than laminate/HERF. What are the prices of these, and any good/affordable companies locally? Lastly, how much do tiles go for, and any recommendations for companies? Thanks!

This is right beside the "holder" box up (my above post). One of my personal favorite. Nothing unique, took the idea from Blum, call the "Tower" unit. Tower is extremely useful to keep daily consumables such as sauces, canned food, condiments etc. Things that are pretty unsightly and take ups kitchen top space, keeping them in Tower, clears up space and looks tidy. It is only when you have one then you will appreciate the usefulness and functionality. Drawers no doubt takes up more space but the accessibility is second to none. What I simply adore are the drawers, especially at the lower parts. No more squatting down and digging to look for things you need. Now simply open the drawer and viola, bird's eye view of what I want.

Oki i got the number of mr yip, the uncle incharge of haulage.kitchen haulage is $200. I asked what about the false ceiling n other carpentry work? He said the contractor doing it is responsible to clear and i should not be charged for that. Which was what i thought in the first place.
