Univonna had but it was twice the price I paid! I bought mine at S&C
-
relatively good experience... whole family walked around trying all the sofas... quite good la. But i think it's only worth buying if it's on "sale" heh. ya that's what I tot about the design too

HURRAY!!!
-
haha... maybe do a low one? or a chest of drawers? another big one like that a little scary. lol
-
Yaaaaa my dad's very mean one... I also wun ask for a change. As long as they work I don't really bother. haha Ya I think all moms overload. And I keep telling her we need a bigger one she insists not. Same with the washing machine. haha i know what you mean about having your own!! But I think yours is really of better quality cos it does seem stronger. Means the people from now on will get that one ba. MmM Now uncle is starting a small bevy of his own workers already... means business good enough for it. Think when he sub it out to other people he has problems coordinating ba. mm

Electrical Quotation Of $9500 Ok?
pinkpetter replied to johnivy's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
I think completely rip out for a 1200 sqft.. at most 5k ba... 9k.. really over the top... but after you rip out then what are you going to use to cover? cornice? false ceiling? -
ohh so funny one. then have the zipper for what?? haha ya so cheap.. just throw! Think you'll spend more trying to wash it clean anyways.
-
YAAA that's why I quickly grab lor. $980 cos it's an older model ma. But anyway who cares whether it's old... put in the house no one will know it's old or new model also. I think the 3-seater version is only $700+. I'm not sure if they still have my model. But I figure if that's what they do for the older models then there must be older models on "sale" now also... S&C is a small furniture shop in Blk 338 Ang Mo Kio St 1 I think. They have catalogues for you to view from. but little in their shop.
-
Eh.. share this with you.. when I was buying sofas I went to Seahorse also. But I found their seats not so comfy... So I went ard looking again. I went to Univonna at IFC Sungei Kadut. The sofas are super comfy... but when I saw the price tag I got a small shock and was ready to walk out then the lady offered to show me the catalogue.. inside I found an older model which wasn't in their showroom... a 4-seat L shaped sofa measuring almost 2m in PU-soft material was only $980!!!! I quickly said I wanted that one. hahahaha besides that.. some of those that I saw at Univonna... I also saw at S&C selling slightly cheaper so you can try if you want other options besides seahorse ones.

Thanks for the headsup! Now I'll go convince my mom that she needs to change her fridge. I think the old fridge of hers is zapping up too much electricity and the way she overloads it is BAD.... haiz. WAH liddat my switch uglier leh! I want to complain.. LOL but shall complain when my dad isn't ard... otherwise he sure ask to change. He's mean. Tankee>>> I bought mine from DK Lighting and A Lighting along Geylang Road.

siao liao siao liao. Rune's blog is like for us to plan for Wii Party. lol I want to play the cooking game can??
-
mm that seems like a plan. Since mom's not really keen on us having our walls painted. I'll see if I can find something that I like. Otherwise the other plan can be to put up wallpaper in my bf's bedroom. hahahaha his room very big.. put wallpaper will still look very spacious. hahaha
-
Jotting down for future use. I really think mom should change her fridge.
-
heh.. ya. I have a small suggestion.. what about hack up the tiles and do laminate. Can be a little cheaper cos labour for laminates is lower. You have quite a bit of things you want to do... heh The storage under the MBR thing is a very good idea. The only thing is where is the Air con unit thing? Is it outside the MBR? Cos if there's anything wrong with the air con later your cupboards have to go...
-
haha sorry for my poor drawing. it's C-shaped. So the shoe portion is below, gap in the middle and the extra storage on top. The other option can be to make it L-Shape (take away the top portion) but make the bottom a little higher so that people from the corridor still can't see you eating. I just realised how big the MBR is.. with the MBR toilet eating into the bedroom 3 instead. so nice...

Some Qns About Buying A Hdb Resale
pinkpetter replied to kthc's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Got. nowadays the economy not so good so some willing to take 0.5%. But at 0.5% they really don't earn much and not a lot willing. maybe 0.75% still ok ba. But waiving of GST definitely have more willing to accomodate. You negotiate this when negotiating the price of the flat lor. -
Do you have a lot of shoes? the most practical and cheapest will be to buy 2 ready made shoe cabinets and place them on the left of the door under your windows. You can also custom make but it'll be more expensive. Should be sufficient for you and your hubby? hehe But if you have a lot of shoes.. wah I have an idea but.. but... but.. it'll cost.... But I think my idea looks nice la! haha *faints* I draw out.. wait ah. **edit** drawn... mm The green thing is a plant.. I left a gap in the middle so that the cabinet will not become a wall which shields off the rest of your house. I thought this way then people can't really see into your house directly from that window but it doesn't block off all the wind going through the house also.. mm

mackerina... mrspiglet did one http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...8317&st=280 you scroll and see. but hers is the whole thing come down and push out kind. It's from Ezzi Living also. I guess they will have the sort you are referring to also? No harm calling to find out **edit** now I went to explore the site myself... http://www.ezziliving.com/slide.htm Then I realise they dun seem to have. haiz
-
yup something like that! but there's a line around your dining.. what is it for? I think the fridge should be placed on the other side of the cabinets.. so that if you want to take drinks only you needn't walk all the way into the kitchen.. mm cabinets are counted by their length. Your kitchen isn't very long so this will give you more cabinet space also. mm I calculated.. this will probably give you 28ft on the cooking side.... That's quite a bit of space. But with the divider your kitchen wouldn't look so open and part of the living room..

Lobangking.. you just joined today and start leaving msgs like this (which look almost the same) all over the forum .... digging up old threads to post on... **edit** LBK gave an explanation here http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?s=...st&p=379442 My apologies to anyone if I sounded mean. But I always have this worry that newbies who read the forum might not know better and will fall for fake owners like I did when I was new in the forum. -

Lobangking.. you just joined today and start leaving msgs like this (which look almost the same) all over the forum without really reading some of the posts... a bit fishy right? How would we know that guy in the picture is not you? for someone who copy and pastes his posts around like that... I say you are the fishy one. and you seem to be digging up posts to post on also. **edit** LBK gave an explanation here http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?s=...st&p=379442 My apologies to anyone if I sounded mean.
