My hubby feels the imagines a little blur, and town council sent pple to check, say becos we split to 3 SCV points that's why the signal became weak. Asked me to install a booster that cost me $200, i refused. Uncle send the electrician down to check, also said the same thing. When i tried to connect thru the SCV digital box, slightly better.. but still not crystal sharp. Is the HD box = digital box?

its seems possible that the gap between the windows and wall 'widen' thru the years, hence causing the hole. In any case, best bet is to call everyone, town council/HDB... let them determine if they can repair for u. asugama i had a portable aircon at my mum's place! must pull water but the water cannot last thru the night.. so halfway no more aircon. But at least it draws away humid air so the room is not that hot even after turning it off. Portable cooler and portable aircon is diff thou they look similar. The portable aircon's downside is must find a 'hole' in the window to slot the 'exhaust pipe (i dunno what's that tube called)' for the hot air to be released.

i understand perfectly. Its like they promise HO this date, but u see things arent moving at all.. and when u chase after them, they postpone the HO date again. The most frustrating part back then for me is... there can be many days that ZERO work is done! Hang on there... coming to an end soon!

hmm.. so far so gd for me leh. And after wiping with Cif with a wet cloth, the solid top shines. sometimes when unknown spots of stains ended up on my white top, use detergent n normal cloth cannot get rid also. Only managed to do with cif. i think for normal cooking, just use detergent will do? Its only for those stubborn stains then i will need to dig out the cif.

i think ur house is really nice enough. no need to do fanciful things, simple is beauty! Maybe add some nice lights n it will be perfect hut! u meant my laundry thingy? My ceiling is also concrete ceiling leh. i dun think false ceiling is able to take the weight. Can sunlight get into the yard, if so, can buy the pulley system..cheaper.

i dunno exactly how much, but not more than $200 if i recall correctly. i think its like wat cannotisit mentioned, HDB will send their contractor to fix the waterproofing at your neighbour's place and bill both party accordingly.

i rembr something like 50-50% cost for you and upstairs neigbhr. FIL's place had the same problem with his ceiling, the neighbr settled the leakage, but FIL also had to pay part of the cost.

u r not alone my dear! i've spend more time in mopping and cleaning than the accumulated time for my entire life! But in the end, the effort is worth it. How's ur MBR sink joint? Shd be ok liao right? I had problems staying alone in the house initially, a bit scare scare... purple MBR for me too! But now... its so dark n cosy... i'll just sleep my way thru. Like wat ivy said, if external leakage will have to go town council to report. From my experience, town council works a little faster than HDB. Just a little...

hi eileen! As merryman stated, better to let them us their own account. In any case, if u haven activated the PUB account, can always ask them to retain theirs until they shift out. Alternatively, get them to reimburse ur bill every mth, do note that 1st mth's bill there will be a $100 deposit for new accounts.
