Hi, i'm looking to buy those weatherproof electrical terminal box & power socket for use at the outdoor garden. can anyone recommend a gd place with reasonable pricings. i've been to a number of heartlands electrical hardware shops but none carry them...... thanks in advance.

if you just paint over...it will peel after sometime....you'll need to sandpaper the surface to be painted prior to ensure proper bonding of the paint to the metal......

granite top for kitchen cabinet is a fantastic choice....and there's no need for contrete supports of sorts. i've retrofitted the kitchen cabinet in my previous condo with no issues. the contractor just tore off the old timber top & fitted the new granite top. of cos your existing cabinet frame has to still be in good condition lo.....

jif for laminates should be fine.....but for veener......

lol...mentioned DreamLights & I get mad......we bought a feature deco light from them some wkends back & was told to collect it the following week as the stock is at their warehouse. on collection day...the light was tightly packed & they assured my wife that their boss had checked it & it's in good condition. no need to recheck it again. happily we brought it home unopen......later in the week when our electrician open the package for installation, they found some of the parts broken...(the broken parts are still within the package)....we immediate called up DreamLights and was told we cant bring it in for exchange as we should have checked it during collection.... yes....it's our fault.....we should've checked during collection.....but they'd assured us and the packaged was so nicely & tightly packed.......

well...lets hope your installer has a long enough ladder to do the installation safely.....if not.....they may ask for scaffold to be erected and that's gonna cost you......

yes...i would reckon it will cost about 100k per additional level and that's only for the structural part. the asthetics part covering finishing & archi works will cost additional.....

my contractor quoted me $300 for each veener door w/o door frame....but said it's a hollow door..... is your door a solid or hollow door? thanks.

not true......go check direct with the glass makers.....

usually patang ppl will prefer not to start work or move-in during the 7th mth..........however, ongoing work should be ok lah...otherwise the workers will have to take no pay leave for a month lo....... mine started in early jun & now is still ongoing......was supposed to complete & handover before Nat.day but.....hiaz.....

hahaha...i wouldnt recommend my contractor cos they are very slow....i gotta chase them everyday for progress and even have to tell the boss sacastically that at the rate they are going.....how not to lose $$$$$...his workers are simply not productive.... anyway, i'm using prc made homo & porcelein tiles bought from gallery-t at macpherson. i find their tiles design are more current & updated. price wise, comparable to balestier area shops. you can check out ceramic world (white horse) tiles at sugnei kadut. their prices are also reasonable however their design are limited.
