Wow... nice rain shower set... where did you buy? Can share?

Air Con We shortlisted MHI based on NEA webby on the electrical consumption. It was noted that MHI has a better consumption compare to other makers and it's about $400 more based on annual consumption with running of 8hrs per day subject to the per kW charge from SP Services. However, many people who are from the industry have told us on the cons of MHI and its poor durability, thus making us ponder more than twice if we should not use MHI. We are worried about our monthly PUB bills (!) especially the per kW charge keeps going up. After much discussion, we decided not to take MHI but Panasonic (used to be National) who have been in the industry for donkey years... Hope this will be a wise choice. Now that we have decided on the make, we need to decide which combination to take :- Bedrooms Option 1 INVERTER 1 x 12k BTU + 2 x 9k BTU for bedrooms (I know our MBR isn't big!!) Option 2 INVERTER 3 x 9k BTU for bedrooms Living Room Option 1 NON INVERTER 1 x 18k BTU for living room Option 2 (dependent on the quotation for INVERTER 24k BTU and the difference compare to a NON INVERTER) INVERTER 1 x 24k BTU for living room

It's a T5 light of 3ft and it cost $10.45 each length. Could you share what you use for cove light? I only know of T5 for cove light I must be dump thinking only T5 is usable for cove light!! We will be using black glossy tiles in our living room, but have not decided on the color of laminates for the carpentry yet. Things are progressing quite fast and start to fall into place after finalizing our electrician with 36 lighting installation and 26 new lighting points and some additional power points. Quite a number of relocation of power points as we would be doing carpentry on the walls. I think our area is the most expensive having to pay $900 haulage fee to the designated HDB contractor and $300 to town council for the permit?

Light for foyer Is this obiang? It does cast shadows on the ceiling and wall... however, I have in mind a small crystal light which does the same, but definitely it's gonna be more costly I like this... but dunno put where and most importantly probably no budget :""(

DH suddenly came out with an idea to have a hanging light in front of the mirror for the MBR toilet instead of T5 above and bottomo of the mirror. I light the idea but have not found a suitable fixture yet. Regardless, we still need a ceiling light for the toilets? Lights for toilets Light for kitchen It's supposed to be day light but lousy shot on Iphone 3GS Same lighting as above except that it's taken from the website

We wanted a hanging light for the dining area

We went to Shanghai Tong Lee on Monday and were told that the discount is only 10% and 20% for purchases above $2000. Is this considered good/better than other Blum dealer? Anybody has any idea? I read somewhere that some dealers offer 25% but I'm not sure if there is a minimum purchase. We also drop by one of lighting shops and shortlisted below lightings, however, we are still not very convince on getting them as we have not visited many lighting shops. We wanted to get those lights with shadow effects on the ceiling/wall for foyer and passageway but they have limited choice in this shop. They offered $10.45/T5 of 3ft.... is this a good price? We wanted a hanging light for the dining area

I am definitely green with envy!! Omg.. that's an excellent piece of work and great taste. Are you using Blum for your kitchen drawers? I like the pull out rack... is that also from Blum or where is it from?

Poppylove Please would you also share with me at amoroux@hotmail.sg the location in JB for the lightings? They are wonderful and cost a bomb here in Singapore. You have a lovely home and the sliding glass is exactly what we hope to have for our new place...

Embark On A New Renovation Journey After 8 Years.....

Hi Is your LED cove light colored? Can the color be changed or fixed? Do you mind emailing me your source at amoroux@hotmail.sg? Thank you.... -
Thank you Gnipihz. Yeah I think it's common now to hack walls for more storage space since the houses are getting more compact. Thank you for your suggestion, we did think of that initially but if we were to extend the kitche, then we would like the dining table to be contained in the kitchen, but if so, it'll be too cramp le. It's always our dream to have a big kitchen space but it would also mean we need to spend more on the renovation. It's really a dilemma and ideas keep coming in and our minds keep changing... Yes, we have many windows and luckily we cannot change the windows yet else that will eat into our budget. We love the best view windows but of course it comes with a price! We have not sourced for grills and hopefully it would not be a hefty sum. BTW, did I tell you our initial combination is also black and purple for our home? Exactly what you have for your kitchen. We have not settled down on the contractor thus have not thought about the color/design yet.

Thanks! If our time coincides, you are welcome to come up and have a look. Have not really decided on ID/contractor yet though.... Not in a rush to move in or start reno
