This queen a bit hard to be boxed up! It is not just thick but wide-spreading like a tree or an upside-down octopus. It is like to do a vertical box-up and a false ceiling. That will make the common bathroom really puny. Thinking of leaving it open and follow what retch did - paint it black. But then it will look quite sci-fi, urghhhh!

Wow nice clocks! The 2nd one very pretty but close to $400! It looks quite well done though. We almost bought the karlsson 双面 clock but ended up buying something else

I think the latter quote that you have gotten seems quite ex. If compared to what Alan quoted me, now his rate seems ok though he never put a cap on the number of lighting & fan points he will help to install in the lump sum quoted. Hope he is not too calculative?

@kelstorm I think I saw those modern grandfather clocks at IMM that you mentioned; in fact, I am looking at them now as I eat at Wanchai ;p Yes Taobao has those cuckoo clocks and some with German certicates, seem quite original. If I am not wrong, cuckoo clocks originate from Germany (maybe Black Forest) and the carvings are so intricate and nice! Can range anything from S$60+ to over S$200+, depending on the complexity of the designs.

I think my mom is super happy about me helping to clear her cabinets... So that she can buy more stuff. She actually has this machine that polishes or cleans or ionizes rice grains (sorry I still can't decipher what that machine does but mom swears that our rice which has been processed by it is the super best quality with great health properties ...)
