Small hiccups and adding of things is a normal thing in Reno. For the window I agree not to use penknife as it may damage the window. Good luck in the DIY Overall I think the renovation is quite smooth going. Think in a week or 2 you will be able to furnish the place and move in

+1 vote for not doing the wall. Reason : Cramp up the area & too troublesome for access.

Glad that things turn out better for your Reno. Got to give credit to the boss for stepping in. Hope RenoJoy issues will be resolved too.

Sungei Kadut have a lot furniture shops which sell lower than some places. The only thing is that got to check their reputation before buying as there are quite some bad workmanship furniture shop. For kitchen hoob & hob, you can consider Fujioh brand, think universal union / heritage is selling cheap and the review of this brand is quite good. For TV, higher series will be better resolution which enable you to get a bigger TV. If you are interested I can sell you my TV, a 55 Inch Samsung at the price i got with the freebies (New) - delivery is 21st April. Reason : 2 IDs i met say 55 Inch is a bit big for the distance of my Sofa & TV (Fixed and cannot change ), 46 inch will be better.

Yes but decided not to follow too cause the placement angle will need a lot of renovation work and a lot space will also be wasted Too bad I already purchase my 55" Samsung (6400 series) TV

guojiawen : Yap... All cabling will be in trunking and you hide these trunking either in false ceiling or carpentry works.

I think your rooms require more lights if only a row of lights at the top corner. Dining may be a little dark on the edge ...- 254 replies

As some people ask about the FSM audit, I will just a brief update on the FSM audit. Will not be following his placement of things like bed and table as the location is quite space wastage and impractical. However the color combination suggested will be followed with some placement of items like mechanism clock and etc.

Congrats. Update us who is it ...

If you don mind, can consider overlay which will save some cost.

Things are progressing quite well and at a good pace. -
Good work. My advise is not to leave any gaps if there are others.
