marble and granite are nature stone. Most contract has a clause that states there will be no guarantee of uniformity in colours and patterns. If anyone doing such flooring, is best to pay extra to do a dry lay so that every tiles are marked to ensure uniformity. For your case, you may want to talk to your ID to change but will be diffcult to change n match the neighbouring tiles. Btw, your mum paid for the extra tiles??

Ya boy!! It goes up pretty fast. That's why I earlier advised those wanted to install aircon better lock in the order 1st so that any price increase will not be affected. My non-inverter system 3 = 1950 ( in Novt07) --> 2100 ( Jan2008) ---> 2200 ( Mar2008). All this was due to high Copper price.

Like what others have said. Ho bee is juz a contractor. You tell them what to do as if will act like an ID. If you juz laying of tiles and simple cabinet, then u can engage contractor But you talking of renoor revamp everytig to create a condo style feeling then u better engaged an ID that able to present you with 3D drawing with the tiles you select. Not nice, change till u satisfy. You are making a home not a house.

If you have many big walls to cover, is better engaged Goodrich as they are more professional & experienced. Installation is about the same as other brands.
