  1. Not really online leh, no pricing, must email them for pricing of every item. Sigh...think not cheap anyway...
  2. I have never done it myself, but I saw those 'pro' do it when they came to fix my previous house. They use slightly oversize one, the application is as what Brainstorm storm, except that you will have extra on all 4 sides, then they use a penknife and just cut the 4 sides (on the glass, be careful don't cut the rubber, use the rubber as the guide and remember to hold the film steady) and it should be very swee liao.
  3. You may want to consider getting from local distributor then. Full warranty and local voltage. Check out www.irobot.com.sg but it will definitely cost more than buying from USA. Of coz the advantage as mentioned is warranty and local voltage.
  4. Try calling the shops with the model number to ask the price for comparision. Check this post for the shops.
  5. There is a thread on the common electrical shops, you may want to do a search on it. Got numbers there too. Ok...found it: Electical Shops

  7. Wah...gold plated one ah? Or got motor?
  8. MJ kaki overload...good...can rotate...LOL...
  9. If you are confident of the whole procedure, than you can definitely DIY. You will have to take care of the contract (which you can probably sort of duplicate from the existing one) and also the application to sublet the flat. Else if you are not sure how and want to get an agent to do it, the commission should be 0.5 mths for renewal, no matter if you sublet 1 year or 2 years.
  10. Yeah, I agree should be able to do it, you see it all the time in the showroom. Reason for cabinet for most people I guess is not to waste the space, and not to support the hood.
  11. I self service so no idea. Can also consider Le Grande white color switches, looks nice too and will go with your white base.
  12. Not sure if I have mentioned this before...your house belly the chio ah! Wah...BBQ, prawn fishing, pools, MJ, cards, badminton, squash, jogging, swimming, like so many activities huh...haha.... Anyone into inline skating too? Squash ah, use to play weekly during poly days, but poly days are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago.
  13. Haha...no choice so just do it, got one time experience liao so this time not so scared. Thank God for circuit breakers.... Still trying to figure out the heater one.
  14. An example quote I got, just to highlight different paint means different price, and additional charges. I never use them so no idea about workmanship.
  15. How about using energy saving halogen bulb?
  16. If you are game enough, you can install yourself. I did it for my last house, light switch, door bell, power sockets, heater switch, tel socket, scv. This time round DIY light switch, think not changing the power sockets, bell chime, will be getting the doorbell. But facing some problem with the heater switch. Still trying to figure out.
  17. Hi bert, I'm sorry to hear that, what is the problem, maybe can share so that forummers can look out. Hi popeye gal, I don't have the contact leh, sorry, my brother did all the arrangement for this.
  18. Don't know what color, think the road is also under construction and is slightly on the uphill.
  19. Oh ya...I do remember receiving a brochure on swimming lesson there. Call Admiralty Hill Country Club or something like that.
