Hi, I got a package with my ID which includes perspective carpentary drawings. Have started on the renovation works. Just wonder, in general, when should he be giving me the perspective drawings? After the tiling works, coz only then he can take the measurement? or before that? Thanks

I think sense of design really differs from person to person.. One mans meat is another mans poison. Most impt is to find an ID tts aligned with our needs and expectations? My ID don't recommend coloured internal for kitchen as he find it weird and a waste of money, but say wardrobe is worth to pay extra for coloured.. Haha. So my house is exactly that

Some house owners has rather unique expectation or requirement, he will rather forego the client than to push thru. Eg. we both agreed that glossy white, back, red laminates combinations are very 80s, so if the house owners insists, he will persuade to change. Else he will rather let it pass. The work he does must pass his self set standard and will not compromised if deem as a poor design. Some may call it snobbish or arrogant but I view it as having passion and taking pride in his work. These are some prerequisite when it comes to work, especially for an ID. If the ID has no passion or pride, what one will get is duplicate of design litter all over this ID's projects.

Hi Bros n Sis, I'm looking for contractors to do wall plastering, rewiring & painting for my old 3rm hdb flat. Anybody got contractors to recommend? And also i hope to get the sequence right. 1. pasterwall 2. painting 3. rewire correct? Did Calvin tan provide warranty if Aircon pipe leak, he will remove the box and patch then up nicely in future ?

However, as the pillowtop is memory foam, I am thinking if it will be hot to sleep in a non-aircon room. I'm in the process of planning for an A&A for my semi D. I've engaged a designer to carry out the architectural drawing, PE calculation, BCA & URA submission ,... I've done soiltest and the PE confirmed no pilling work is required for me to add an attic above my 2 storey house. Can anyone kindly tell me what is the current market rebuild cost based on psf for the additional GFA for attic (less than 1000sqft)? Thanks.

I was asked by my designer to top up $3k in Architectural fees as URA advice to convert my A&A application into recon due to bother line additional GFA increase. Is it reasonable? I was told that there is more drawing and details to be submitted to authorities for recon over a&a to justify for more service fees. Can anyone advice me?
