My bedside table is called ODDA from Ikea! $99. Ikea is having a sale now, though I don't know if this item is on discount.

Thanks. A little on the dark side so I'm going to get him a lamp. As for the stuffy part, it's not stuffy except on certain days then he will move an extra standing fan out... in addition to the ceiling fan in the living. haha thanks thanks.. I do hope she's happy with the screens though Hihi! I bought from Eestilo de Vida at Sims Centre along Sims Ave (running parallel to Geylang Road) It's a one piece toilet bowl. The package with the round basin cost 200+ while the package with the square basin cost $300+

WAH your TV very nice!!
-
... if the interior of the cabinet is in good condition you can just change the doors or the outer laminates...
-
But your kitties have companion wor. Mine only has us so the two "grandparents" always very worried about her... You're welcome!!!
-
aiyoh... he must have moved everything out from the store and left it all around to show you guys... purposely make a mess... yucks.
-
haha thanks. SHe seemed a little afraid at first but she seems better now. Used to it I guess.
-
thanks thanks... definitely nicer. We were so happy to get rid of the cardboard.

Number one and 4... will not be seen later. 1) is quite common cos I think the other side is the wall right? If you're going to have skirting it wouldn't be seen at all. As for 4) when the darker tile goes up the unevenness will not be seen already. however for 2 and 3... the jagged edges I've not seen.. mmm

mm works out to be 185psf which isn't too over I guess. Will the inside be in the laminate of your choice too? Or just normal white? Think will be nice if it's in laminate too. hehe

Do You Wish For Your Child(ren) To Support You?
pinkpetter replied to LinDa's topic in Wedding & Travel
Although I'm so late reading this post.. I'm so glad someone points this out.. that we all have limited funds and resources.. and limited energy. Taking care of parents and children will surely drain the average person's funds and energy. Technically when you get married, you'll get two sets of parents.. I'm sure if your partner's parents are ill, you won't hold on to purse strings tight and not give up a cent at all. So... I'm still single. And looking at my own parents.. I guess marriage is a distant dream. I don't want to have to choose between my parents and my kids... and my own financial independence. I think the topic.. *support* is not just about giving them money and shelter.. it's also about listening to them, helping them get things done.. Sure.. if you look at your own parents now in their fifties and sixties they are independent and can do everything... But the day will come when they find it really hard to do things... they get senile cos they are alone all the time or just watching TV, not knowing where to go and what to do. They start to fear when their own friend go one by one and their chat sessions with their friends revolve around who's gone. Sigh. Ah well. -
AHHH now I see where the high cost in your reno will come from. But Since you're going to sacrifice an entire room for your wardrobe then you might as well make full use of it with more storage at the sides.

Recommendations On Nice Lights At Resonable Pricing?
pinkpetter replied to jenandy's topic in Home Furnishings
mmm nvm milkstar.. now you know to check things out first. I got my lights from DK lighting and A Lighting. Though I prefer A lighting, I do like both a lot -
Just realised that I has a typo in my previous post. he can draw well. He will draw to confirm with you the final design before doing.. mm Now that you put your plans in a picture.. I notice you have quite a bit to get rid of. You're welcome btw.

14k!!!!!!!! and to think.. before I began my reno research I actually told the IDs and contractors I wanted to do my entire house for 14k. whahahahaha I think... Unless your kitchen is very big and you're making cabinets with tempered glass doors throughout and there are lots of them.. and the tiles are.. maybe $9/psf... 14k is really over the top. I redid my entire house for 25k and the kitchen cost us 5k...

PMed. but he doesn't provide designs hor. Thought he can draw pretty well.

clearer pictures of the screen
-
screen is $29. But you need to buy the track. Single track is $15 and tripe track is $29. The little thing used to mount the track to the ceiling costs $4 and you need two per track. Then for each screen you need the top and bottom rail which cost $15 a set.

Sigh... mm just in my own opinion la. 1) I just think that 32k for a 4 room is too much in the first place.. moreover there isn't total rewiring. BUt then you do seem to be using things of better quality (sounds like it..) and you have extra stuff here and there.. mm 2) The kitchen and toilet package... my toilets and kitchen add up to 8k with a 21ft kitchen cabinet, cement screeding for walls, 600X600 homo tiles for kitchen floor, hack and tile for toilets and installation for all toilet and kitchen items and electrical in both places. 3) My hack and haulage fee is $2200. And we hacked off all the flooring throughout the house and a wall and dismantled a lot of stuff.. Yours is just as much without the flooring.. mm 4) And i think the points included in the electrical package are too few.. have to top up one... then it's more $$$... mm 3)

hehe so cute.. I like your layout.. so square... Picture pictures!
-
oo. well. personally I find it expensive. IMHO..
-
xebay I'll consider. but not now. Spent too much. I'll wait it out. This morning... we began our little project... firstly... my bunny had to be confined... Then we wrecked her house and raided all her things... and finally we finished the screens!! I'll take a more complete photo in the morning.

I'm no pro... but I'm thinking of these... Packages usually include other stuff too.. But I reckon a kitchen with a change of wall and floor tiles and cabinets will probably cost 5-8k? Cost should include: hacking of tiles and removal of cabinets Tiling and waterproofing construction of cabinet base cabinets (number and combination makes a diff) eg. if you want to have tempered glass doors it'll cost more. Orientation of the cabinets (whether there are corner units) type of laminate type of worktop (postform/solid surface/granite) Plumbing (need to shift? need to change pipes?) Electrical points Backing? (need glass or S/S backing?) Yup need to apply permit if you're hacking things off. I'm concern about one thing... is your kitchen... near your entrance? Cos after they hack they need to haul the things out... I'll be worried when they try to drag things across my hall/living flooring....

NICE!! Such a huge kitchen to play with you can split the dry and wet.. Have you gotten a contractor yet?

AIYAH... LOLLL Can use normal saw to saw. My friend did it. No need to buy their "special saw"
