That is one of the site I checked before I decided to bi-wire my speakers. As what my fren told me, I am going to the path of no-return. I have start complaining that my setup is giving "light" sound, not enough "weight" or "punch". His suggestion, change the speakers. And I just got the speakers less than 2 weeks .... My setup is: Hi-Media HD300B -(coaxial)->Yamaha RX-V450 -(bi-wire)->Whaferdale 9.1. Cables are from belden, not using banana plug, and bought from SLT. If I hunt speakers again, I think my wife would kill me for now ...

Interestingly, many stereo amp does not have bi-wire output options. Although bi-wire output s'posedly gives better result for the speakers (assuming that the speakers support it). But why? I ended bought 2nd hand AV Receiver that has options for bi-wire since my speakers can do bi-wire.

Yes, it's nice and also practical. My ikea tv console (repurposed from sideboard) is not very deep. Once my 2nd hand receiver is in with all the cables, the doors can't be closed. I want to take out the doors but over-ruled by the lady of the house ...

Slight OT but anyone selling their AV Receiver or Amp? Just bought Whaferdale 9.1 (front bookshelf speaker) and currently it's sitting nicely on the console. Unplugged. I need either an amplifier or AV receiver to drive this. It will be connected to my PS3, Hi-Media HD300B (Network Media Player), TV and my future CD player. My main emphasize is for music listening, movies are secondary. Hence, I realize that HDMI is not exactly a must for me. After all, the video can just go to my TV direct with HDMI. Any sound output would go to amplifier or receiver. Budget is $300 +/-.

Same as when I just moved i, very clean. Even put sweets and sugar, no ants or lizard will come. But after few months, they magically appear I will try your method. Beside your method is the method to clean solid top spot also.

If you haven't paid fully for the work, hold the $$ until they fix the thing. If they dont' want to fix it, MOVE ON. Use the $$, get another contractor to fix the thing. As much as u can go to CASE,etc .. it's not worth it. Get the problem settled n done n u can stay in ur own home.

Well .. maybe my coffee-table would be converted to smthg else, some side-table at some corner maybe. My side table has no sharp-corners, all from wood I agree with dining table. I always think it's weird that many ppl is ok with small dining table. There's once I went to a fren's place for dining. After all the food being put on the table, almost no space to eat the food. Very cramp. Now my dining table is considered long, though only 1.8m.

Exactly so when watching tv, need place to put the cup mah leg on coffee table? that's the other reason to have coffee table

Slightly different topic but related. have you watched a US TV Show "The Mentalist"? It's a crime-detective drama. The interesting related part is that .. the main character used to be PSYCHIC. The kind of person who can talk to the "dead", a medium, etc. But due to certain events, he stopped doing it and work with the police. And he actually admitted that he was a con-man. He doesn't believe in PSYCHIC. He actually tricked them using psychology. Using psychology, he can deduce what's the person characters, behaviors, and habits. This make him look like a PSYCHIC. I wonder whether good fsm has this traits also.

Then the next question is that... 1. If putting a painting + 24/7 lights can bring good stuff for business, can everyone do it? 2. Surely can't place it anywhere? 3. Can everyone be benefitted by it?

Link not working. I bought 2 paintings in Bali direct from artist. 2 paintings cost IDR 350000 (or S$50). Have yet to frame them cuz can't find the place to frame in reasonable price.
