  1. Hi there, I am also looking for this. What did you end up doing? Great if you could share your experience / contact for the film. Thanks very much!
  2. Hi there What are your rate per square foot? Please PM me. Thank you!
  3. Hi there, This is a very sparely used solid wood queen-sized bed frame. The bed is around 2 years old. We have this lying in the guest bedroom and used it less than 20 nights. Selling for $320. The frame can be dismantled quite easily. New piece is selling at a GSS sale price of $845. See link below - it is the exact bed we are selling http://thefurnituremall.com.sg/showroom/mattress/fantasy-sleep-centre-01-39-mattress/ Moving house to a smaller place and selling / disposing a bunch of things. If anyone wants to pick up a very very good condition Ikea wardrobe (200Lx236H) please PM me.

  5. Thanks for your response huiamos!

My ID is getting quotes but they are all around 8k for 200sqft. Do you mind sharing the approximate amount you paid pls? My ID thinks 8k is too much but is struggling to find a more reasonable quote. Thanks again!

  6. Hi - did you get the glass wall done in the end? We are looking for glass wall with aluminium frame and dont know where to get / how much to pay!
  7. " We are hacking away the whole wall facing the kitchen and replacing it with a black aluminium-framed glass wall/door" This is our exact plan too! Could you please share who did this for you and how much please. We are desperately wanting this. Happy for a PM if that is more comfortable!
  8. Hi Tokara - did you find someplace good? I am also looking to buy a chesterfield!
  9. I think she is one of these spammers. bleah http://www.renotalk.com/forum/profile/76991-stephchang/
  10. It looks like there are these few users always praising Turbo in various forum topics at various times. Looks rather fake.. sheesh!
  11. Hi - I am using a Blanco kitchen sink. I bought my condo 2 years ago and the sink was part of the original flat (7 years old). No problems so far at all. I renovated the kitchen - cabinets, flooring everything. But the ID and even the shop guy advised that Blanco is made in Germany and can last 10-15 years. So I decided to keep it. So far very good.
  12. While I don't have any experience with a similar issue, I am not sure how you are going to get the tenants to pay for parquet replacement. Is your objective to get the tenants to pay for the pest treatments as well? You may need to sit down and settle this. Indeed it is the responsibility of the landlord to keep the house in a tenantable condition. You may need to research on what this point means. As far as pest control is concerned, have you tried getting a second opinion as well? I am in the management committee of my condo and in my limited experience, different pest control companies use different products with varying costs and vastly varying effectiveness. I am also surprised that the pest control company points out to the parquet infestation only at the 3rd treatment. Overall, might be useful to get a second or even third opinion. Finally, I am not sure the of relevance of the tenants being Indian to the entire issue. Having it in the topic of your post is unnecessary and in my personal opinion, inappropriate. What are you trying to achieve with that really?
  13. I found the strips in the HomeFix outlet at Great World City
  14. I am using it and its fantastic - very nice and fun, but not bright enough to be proper lighting. It is strictly for romantic\mood lighting. You are supposed to be able to link upto 6 sets together and use from the same remote, so presumably you can get it to be brighter. I bought it a year and a half ago, so please note that there might be a newer model now.
  15. HI - You can try this company called "Advance Movers". I used them 3 times over the past 2 years and they are excellent. Good rates (I got quotes from 4-5 others) and very good service. Try calling Henry at 98377117
  16. Hi guys - no offense but when it comes to the soundbar, Yamaha is way better than the others. Philips is good but Yamaha is better. If you are an audiophile and are highly sensitive to sound quality, Yamaha is the way to go. Otherwise feel free to go with the Philips. The LG one (at least the model I checked about a year ago) was not as good as the other 2. So, in terms of sound quality, Yamaha > Philips > LG. If you are going to connect the subwoofer to the soundbar with wires in any case, you may also consider a 5.1 system with 2 rear wireless surround spearkers. The 3 speakers in the front connected with wires. Actually you can check cnet for reviews
  17. Hi Ahhiong, thanks for the update. Mine was installed by the Harvey Norman guys, so I wonder if this is the issue. Can't wait to get home and check this out tonight - haha. Thanks again!
  18. My 3 month old washing machine also like that, but thankfully has not vibrated off yet. During the spin cycle at 1000rpm, it is kind of crazy. I am so sure one of these days it will fall off. Scary!
  19. How about those simpler wall mounted solutions in Howard's Storage or something? But these are not THAT sturdy, but probably enough for small condo (which I assume also means fewer people and clothes ;P)
  20. Hi everyone, I would like to recommend the use of Advance Movers. I have used them 3 times in the last 2 years and each time they have been very good and the service is at reasonable prices too. You could contact Henry from Advance Movers at 98377227. Sometimes another lady picks up the phone but she is past of the business too. Cheers
  21. Hi Everyone, I need some help here. My new place has some automated programming for the light switches, using Hager and Clipsal switches\systems. Problem is, some of them don't seem to be working so I need to get it "re-programmed". The electrician doing my renovation could not help with this. Now I have approached the original company (Wizdenki) which did it for the condo but they are referring me to their "partner" company since they only do at project level. The partner company, Intellihome wants to charge $120 per hour. I have no idea about this "programming" thing and its the first time I have encountered it. Could you guys please advise - (i) is it ok to re-program this - will spoil again? and (ii) are the rates quoted by intellihome normal? I would appreciate any inputs any of you might have regarding this as I have no experience with this at all. Thanks very very much in advance
  22. Hi WD88, I think I need to pull out of this - am sorry for this last minute withdrawal - got problems with the door all that - got exotic alarm system linked to the door and cannot change lock without disabling the whole thing. Thanks though
  23. Can find only the holder for the cups in Howard's storage and also in Sim Siong Choon. I am looking for the metal rods\poles to attach to the ceiling - like in a bar - does anyone know where to find that - hopefully a whole set can just install to the ceiling and can have the glass rack all that! Please help!
