Hey people, try out the new Western food stall at Blk 122 (where Sheng Xiong supermart is) kopitiam. Very nice though pricey. We tried the chicken chop, fish and chips, spaghetti all very good. It's the corner kopitiam furthest away from Sheng Xiong, manned by a few uncles. Can't miss it!

Went for the Western US tour. Tour guide also very smart, collected tips on the very first day, so you cannot hiam his "services" and not give tips at the end of the trip. 1st time I encountered tips collection so early...

Yo, just came back from my trip and feeling unjustified over the amount of money paid for the tour and optional tours. Seems like Dynasty subcon out its tour packages to others, meaning they don't have their own tour guides unlike other bigger established agencies, thus the tour guide taking us tried to bom us to take his optional tours. That's ok if he delivers what is promised, but turned out he's earning more than 5 times the original cost of the ticket to visit whatever spots he recommend PER PERSON, plus a lot of things he said wasn't true And his famous statement is always "It's ok if you don't want to take the optional tours, I'm doing you an extra service. But hor, if you don't take, then you got to arrange your own transport to and fro hotel hor. And hor, if you don't want, then the rest can't go because everyone must be cooperative mah, I one person cannot satisfy everyone mah... and so far, everyone wants to go loh.... " No more Dynasty tours for me man.... never had such a nasty experience with guided tours before... the previous one I took with SA was fantastic. The tour guide tried to bring us extra places AT NO EXTRA COST. He never forced everyone to participate, and we pay direct to the vendor so there's transparency in the actual cost of entertainment.

6 years and 1.5 months. Considering a change now...

I went to both places for my honeymoon, spent about 2 weeks. 1st 3 days at Rusutsu Ski Resort in Hokkaido, 7 days with SA land tour, then stayed the rest in Tokyo/ Hakone. I would say it's sufficient to visit the places of interest at a leisure pace, but I only went to DisneySea, so if you're interested in Disneyland, then probably just throw in another day. Waterproof ones, and no heels. Otherwise you will sink into the snow and as you walk, the snow will melt on your shoes so if not waterproof, your feet will feel damp and cold and stink And when walking on pavements, the ground is very slippery because the snow that melts turn into ice so a bit slimmy-like slosh...

Sometimes after complaining abt work etc, I just want to hear "I know things are tough but I love you" , instead of hubby's solutions, and I need to "remind" him time and again what it is exactly that I want to hear. Although at first I think it's weird to say out what I want, that he should know, but I realised that's not true coz I myself also don't know what he wants at times. So I decided might as well tell him straight, so that the next time it happens, he'll react the "correct" way and I'll be comforted. And guys have short memory, so you got to "repeat" every now and then. So please really set aside a quiet time (when he's not rushing out to meet frens to party) to talk through how you feel, how he feels. It's really worth the effort. Hmmm Cornetto, sound like you're having pre-wedding blues. Don't give up dear, I went through it once. I think gals tend to be more sensitive over guy's actions, even though he may not mean it that negatively. With good communication, you two will be able to smooth out the rough edges. Gosh... it's only been 6 months i can't even remember what was my dinner 1st march-in song... but my church march-in was Canon in D and my 2nd dinner march-in was "She's Got a Way About Her" by Billy Joel. I think "I Will Be There" by Steve C is very nice too. My fren's hb sang it to her at her wedding.
