hmm, i find this very strange. Why do u want to "locked" youself to this particular shop by placing the deposit? As we all know, electrical appliances prices sure drop one. What if at the time you decided to purchase the appliances and the store knows that you have already lock youself to them. Will they give u the truly low price ? They can tell you that, this is my shop price, take it or leave it. What if at that time u look around and find elsewhere cheaper, are u able to get back your deposit ?

Aussino bedsheet do not cater for 14"-16" wat i suggest is getting the quilt cover from Aussino. They have quite a no. of nice designs and the quilt cover usually comes with pillow case. Quilt cover do not ahve thickness range. After that, just get a near matching plain fitted bedsheet from Spotlight(you can get pretty high threadcount bedsheet) or other sources. IMO, the house is not an exhibition room, so most important is comfortable and cheap.

i dont think this is the original HDB gate. If its original, it sldnt be a prob. My parent's place is using the original gate, and there's no prob with such lock. However, my own house, the gate is the same as your iron gate. What i did is get the Duro 320(lock) and 320N(bracket). With these, i make it like the same function as your 338. when i open the lock, i do not need to hold on to the lock, and the locking bar will automatically "shoot" out from the gate's lock holes.

ya, for tiles and glass is different. For tiles, the surface is smooth. So you have to take the small drill, use the hammer to hammer it a few times on the spot you want to drill on. This will leave a small depression on the tiles and make it easier to drill. If not you will find your drill slipping off from the surface. Anyway, pratice makes perfect.

Actually learning how to drill is a useful skill. As least next time when you needed to drill something, you can do it anytime you want and its simple too. First get a drill with hammer function from your neighbourhood Wu Jin shop. For me, bosch / black and decker are overrated. I got 1 around $50 plus. Then, get a small drill bit and one big drill bit(depending on your screw size). Get a pack of those red/green color plastic tube.(depending on your screw size too) Measure the length of the red color plastic tube. Mark the length on both your drill bits. Then mark the area which you wanted to drill. Use the small drill bit to open a small hole 1st. Drill till the marking which you marked earlier. Then use the bigger one to enlarge the hole. Go in and out a few times to clear the dust. Then push in the red color plastic tube. If find it hard to push, hammer it in. Push till its flush to the surface. Now you are ready to screw your railings.

sorry, im not trying to aim you. But i find it strange that u posted in so many posts just to ask pple whether what you bought is good or not. IMO, it sld be done before u even purchase your matteress. What me and my wife did is to go around and try different matteress and then buy the one which we feel is good and cheap for us. After we bought the matteress, we never step into anymore matteress shop / ask around whether kena robert or not. Preparation for marriage is stress enough + work. No point in subjecting myself to such stress. If one day, by accident, i find that i kena robert, the most i ban the shop and will not recommend to others and treat it as a lesson learnt. Anyway, back to topic, i bought a Q size serta arizona which comes with divan set, which me and my wife feel its good enough. Did not try omazz cause we are not sure of that brand that time. Just be happy with your purchase, no point in brooding over it after you pay. If you want to blame, just blame it on yourself for not doing homework beforehand.

acutally, its not the rust which raise the Ph value of drnking water. Rather, drinking water itself is in fact slightly acidic. The slightly acidic water will cause rust in pipes. However, the pipes used by PUB should be stainless steel and of 304 grade. However, if u suspect the PUB shortchanged u and use lousy quality stainless steel. One simple method is to use a magnet and run along the pipes, if it stick, its a low grade one. This method can used when anyone of you buying stainless steel products or intending to install stainless steel piping for storage heater, jsut use a magnet, there's no way the supplier can bluff u.

If you want to see different models of Duro locks, here is teh website http://www.duro.com.sg/duropp.html it shows some basic dimensions of the lock. If you cant imagine how it can fit your gate, visit homefix/selffix. I saw soem outlets with display of the gate n locks. For me, i use the ART320 and ART320N(for the lock to sit on).

actually you dont have to wait for next year for ur CPF HPS to expire, u can apply for external HPS and request for the exemption. Once CPF clears your application for exemption, they will refund u whatever its left into ur OA a/c. You can call CPF to reconfirm this.
