hey...a very good friend of mine juz said the EXACT same things to me last week when he came back from New Jersey last week... agreed very much with it. many singaporeans unknowingly have the mentality that ang moh is better then us..and give them better treatment/service...now im not saying ang moh no good...itz juz that we can be every bit as good as them if we want to be...

well..a little more care is expected for laminated flooring. for homogenous...u can mop watever way u please...but for laminated flooring cannot let water seep into the floorings...if the water stay inside for too long will make the laminated flooring warp...another thing is although nowadays laminated flooring quite tough...frequent use of living room may wear it down faster then homogenous flooring...like everytime u wanna maybe drag ur furniture u gotta think twice...frequent dragging at the same spot of heavy furniture will confirm scratch one loh... maintenence wise can go homefix or watever to buy those liquid for laminated flooring and spray on and wipe lah...quite easy... look wise..homogenous shiny shiny glossy glossy some people think look nicer...laminated flooring all over look very warm and comfy..depends on wat u like loh...

i love SBH..they got such wide selection of tiles...never been to other place to see b4..but was impressed with the selection...

u mean colour combination for ur kitchen? i think it lookz great! orange kitchen very in now...but be sure to choose a bright orange laminate! for the exact position of downlights maybe u can let ur ID decide then run it thru with u..u can ask for his opinion/rational as to why he place it there..unless ur a photography/lighting expert and have better ideas...

the hole is a must have wan lah...cos got the drainage for ur kitchen inside mah...nex time u wanna wash kitchen water can flow into the hole loh...unless u dun really plan to wash the kitche cos u seldom use it for cooking itz not a must to cover but it will be better lah...the tiler will know how to do wan...very easily can remove the cover...hmmm...i see tomolo i gotch time i got my place and take photo for u to see wat i mean...pics say a thousand words... since itz such an easy thing might as well u get ur ID to get the tiler to do it
