leaking from outside, i tink is hdb's prob.....town council is ur S&C and other facilities maintenance only. this is something i dam unhappy about..... when got prob, dunno exactly who to look for, then have to play the taiji game between hdb and town council on the other hand, the tiles nice wor! very hard to find in SG ar?

actually not sandstone color but a light color, white but not pure white, dunno how to explain lol now that i see ur sandstone color, dunno want to change anot the rounding of edges should be standard ba, i also nvr specify that i wan round edges but the base was done like tat

not bad wor , but i do feel that the actual one will always look dimmer than 3d pics. ..maybe depends on how much the natural light ur flat has, but BTO has almost full height windows, might not be as dark as i expected my wall and floor color is the complete opposite of urs:P

well. not advertising for aaron or anything. he's been responsive for all the whatsapp msgs i threw at him, only time he took more than half a day to reply was that his company sent him on a course. i also found out he is handling five to six sites this month including mine, yet he still pretty punctual on his appointment with me despite not having a vehicle. so far together with the progress i seen, really dun have much complaints to make, well maybe except his company is a GST registered one, holding me back to add in additional works and make changes which potentially involve additional costs. next up is carpentry, his company has their own factory in sembawang tho(can't remember the address ), so i shall see how good the workmanship is going to be, although i'm no expert

well, aaron whatsapp me last night updating that the issue is nothing major and assured that he'll settle it. so far i really have to say it's been a wonderful experience working with him, maybe i'm not really the strict time as long i see progress was made and works are done to acceptable standard. oh...i did not do tiling for kitchen walls tho, just plain plastering, that should shave off some time from the tiling part and also the fact that i reduced the kitchen size by extending the living room

ya, guess the two tilers finish up quite a lot of the work last saturday , was quite surprised to see the tiling works almost near completion and ready to start carpentry during today's visit maybe aaron wants me to pay the next 40% upon start of carpentry asap? LOL! Now left touching up aaron's sacred wall, bedroom doors, aircon, carpentry, window grilles, iron gate, electrical/plumbing, laminate flooring, painting and maybe final touchup. I'm still worried abt the leaking problem, pray not serious!

Update : Kitchen tiling a rare day where my wife can come along with me to look at our flat. tiling work had finished for kitchen and toilets. for my standard, i think the tiling was pretty well done happen to see aaron there finalizing the carpentry work with his carpenters and do their measurements. Not so good news : neighbour downstairs complain about leaking... went down with aaron to inspect...indeed minor leaking causing yellow/brownish stains on their mbr toilet ceiling and kitchen ceiling. good thing is neighbour says leaking seems to stop after the tiling work had completed. aaron says "dun worry, let me settle it"..... hope it is nothing serious and no additional costs, no money liao............

for electrical, safety is important especially if the last wiring was decades ago...... if u just install the standard ceiling lights like me, normally it would be included in the "package" offered by the ID/contractor, any extra is mainly on the extra powerpoint u want to have if u want lightbox, the cost will definitely swell up as i believe each downlight is considered as one lighting point which is about $44-50 each(??) waterproofing wise, dun tink u should save on it, it's for ur own good as well as ur neighbour downstairs. kitchen wise is debatable but the tech officer from HDB once told me, u can dun do waterproofing for kitchen but the sink area definitely need to do. but if u hack the floor where the sink is to do waterproofing, might as well do waterproofing for the entire kitchen, normally this is also included in packages offered in some ID firms

have to agree with mrmerry, it's all about how u feel. i prefer colors which blends well with each other then colors which are of a total contrast. however, there are situations where contrasting colors work really well, especially wardrobes.

hehehe, my MIL sponsor a wardrobe for my wife, so now she can finally have a built in wardrobe with pull out mirror so today meet up with aaron to decide wardrobe laminates to match my greyish floor this will be how the wardrobe doors look like, the whitish laminate actually has little shiny dots under lightings, like stars in the sky Also finally aaron emailed me the 3D pic of my kitchen, i feel it will look darker in the real world situation
