does anyone know where i can get teak + iron wrought or wood + iron wrought designs ? seems that when it's wood, it's wood all the way. only saw one wood/ironwrought dining table at IMM (forgot the shop name) but it's kinda wobbly.

i was in tears over the reno yesterday as I thought nothing was being done and i reali didn't feel like walking into our house. but FH convinced me and turns out that they put the false ceiling up. it did made me feel a bit better but we;ll see hw it goes.

woah ! i saw the table at OM at IMM. it's nice ! i also like their matching dining table. the embroidery at the back of the chairs are pretty ! too bad it doesn't match my home concept

i agree with devilaz. if u ask 2 different contractors to do, and if something goes wrong in ur house, they'll just start pointing the blame to the other person. enci, maybe u wan to consider doing wat i do: i just overhaul my master bedroom toilet. FH wans a nice toilet but we can't afford to do both so we did one only. and it's the one we will be using the most since the common toilet is mainly for guests etc.

oh dear ! if it makes u feel better, i dun know who u are but i understand hw Mr. aNs feels. so i will nt post any addresses or pics of FH and me in my t-blog. i'm somewhat paranoid that way.

haha ! if i were u.. i'd just say gt emergency at home and have to rush down. but i'm more evil that way hehe ! mine is approximately 20k WITHOUT all the extra things like hob, hood, furniture and other stuffs. purely reno. cool ! that's good to hear. i love my hob to bits and can't wait to start cooking ! err... i'm nt a good cook though but i promised FH that i'll try to cook him 1 dish per week to improve my cooking skills. but of course he has to be my food taster lah.. hope he doesn't get a stomachache..

so the tiling which was suppose to be done last week was delayed and i got pretty pissed off about it. FH had been repeatedly telling me to be patient ; of which I had none of course. got an sms from FH saying that the ID had already started the screeding and laying the waterproof membrane for the balcony and the master toilet. tiling is suppose to be either tomorrow or Friday. i'm still unhappy though. i now know why ppl get stressed up over their reno.

check wif u guys. currently, for my ceiling fan point, i nvr do anything. that is, it is still at the "2 pin" bulb type of hole. do i need to ask my electrician to do anything before i ask the elmark guys to install the fans ? or will they know how to convert from the "2 pin bulb hole" ? hope u guys understand wat i'm trying to say here..
