Our Lovely Home @ Bishan

Recommended Posts

Haha... too shacked to post the photos last night. I was awake at 5.30am yesterday and couldn't go back to sleep as I keep thinking about the flat and reno stuf :) Went out at 10+ and squeezed in 3 meetings with 1 contractor and 2 IDs before going down to HDB in the afternoon for the appointment. After that, we went down to The Peak@Toa Payoh showflat to kaypoh since it's nearby before finally going to our flat to snap photos and do some measurements. By the time I got home, I was too tired already.

Enough of my story. Photos coming up in 10 minutes (uploading in progress)... :sport-smiley-018:

Heya Smartie and Booy,

Very nicely done up place. Don't think you'll need to do much renovation except maybe a nice new coat of paint and use your funds for stuff like nice furniture. A good buy indeed!

MBR toilet quite nice! looks like there's nothing much to reno! good for u.

may i know how much u paid for COV?

We paid 23k for COV. The MBR toilet looks nice but we still intend to redo the toilets. The tiles are those rough type and booy thinks that's very hard to maintain and clean. Other things we want to do are mostly carpentry work and miscellaneous stuff like painting and polishing of the broken marble floor.

When we visited the house for the 1st time, the agent told us 40+K COV before we stepped into the house... I was like almost fainting then... The owners are very clean, so the house was therefore very well maintained.. In fact, their house just had a new coat of paint last year.. And the curtains were also made last year manz... So it was a great news when they accepted our offer of 23K in the end...

Our parents keep saying there's nothing to do as well... haha...

I find the toilets too hard to maintain.. I'm a lazy person who have hardly done any household work... And smartie also sama sama.. And I also dun like the small partition in bedroom 3.. Used to be for maid.. But I got no money to engage maid now.. :D... And I want my die die must have seatie cum cupboard in bedroom 2.. So still will do a bit of reno... In fact, I was quite sad for a while after buying the house becos I dun have much room to do up our house...

So I cannot bring myself to just bring luggage to move in... LOL... Thanks for all the suggestion though...
