somehow when compared with buying from thailand, it was cheaper.

lorgan has this too but iirc its $300 ish per piece?

our love for pencil legs and beautiful teak grains :)

to reply to a pm-> we didnt engage an ID. we thought of what we wanted (which is the design and layout) and discuss the feasibility with contractor. for measurements, of course must run by contractor's advice.

so yah, no 3d design to post.

this cement screed wall here is going to be left unpainted

cove and down lighting in the mbr. for living room we are using track lights.

below comments are my own opinion:

one thing i want to point out after i installed LED downlights is i really hate them. even if LED can save more money or can be brighter than t5, just put a book with small words under both lights and see the difference.

To me (again, it might be different for u), the words under LED lights appear 'ghostly' and 'blur' wherelse the words under t5 lights appear 'solid'.

Its the same situation for LCD/LED vs Plasma. I hate the lag in lcd and led. Go to Best or Harvey Norman and watch a fast trailer. Then look closely at a person's neck and see if you see 2 necks or a widen neck. Go to the plasma section and see another neck ( using neck as point of reference). The lag is not so obvious.

U paint window grill? Window grill is aluminum can paint?

cant paint. u need to sand it first. or u use plastic spray. i used paint because i wanted to see if painting would be faster.

daring ah? i thought got more ppl more daring than me with the colours.

this one is cherry brown.
