Hi.. did you buy recently? yeah in strathmore not many are up for sale. Many are over-priced. I managed to view a few flats around April/May and then chose mine in May.

hi can i check if you applied your HDB reno permit before you took your keys? if so, how are you able to do that? i would also like to start my renovation right after i get my keys end of this month but my ID informed me that she can only help me apply for hacking permit from HDB only when im the owner of the flat, which means on completion date?

Hi,

Have a work around. If you want to start reno immediately after taking your keys, then you need to simply get an "indemnity form" signed by the current owner (seller) and you (buyer) and submit to HDB. HDB will then give you the reno permit. I think, the indemnity form is standard indemnity form available in HDB, because I see HDB logo in the form.

Nice 3D pictures :good:

However take note that 3D usually will portrait a bigger space.

My friend house face 2 problems after Reno:

1. Toliet bowl is too near cabinet and kind of squeeze for bigger size ppl to do "big biz"

2. Bed (King Size) and not much walking space between wardrobe and bed.

Hope this helps.

Completely agree with your thoughts. you have an eye for detail :thumbs up:

Same thoughts I have. But alternatives are not much - my common toilet is quite small - so we will have to live with the business squeeze :curse: And I am reusing my king size bed frame - so have to live with the small space between wardrobe and bed. Thank you very for the inputs.

personally for me, its not a gd idea to sleep facing the mirror. and its a huge piece of mirror!

Because we felt the room is not big and bright enough..So we decided to have the mirror in wardrobe to make the room appear bigger and brighter
