Congrats!! Yday juz went down to sign my 1st appt. Prepared every documents they want us to bring down..... and they sae they dun nd all tt alrdy.... haiz..... however, juz remeber to bring ur bank book along and a photocopy of it.

I went down last sunday................ the flooring nt bad. The contractor Mr Tay ( Level 5) quite a nice guy (abit beng la, ), he advised us on some renovation issues. Can go n take a look la...... and get some advise from him lo

Try this method to upload pics, I used this and quite easy, even provide the option for auto-resize.

You can go to http://imageshack.us/

Select/Browse the pic and click the "host-it!" button.

Then you can post in the forum the URL link the site will provide you after you do the upload.

So good. I went to Blk25 Aonce, but the showflat is not ready.

I have received my deposit of $2000 back so it seems that HDB is rather fast. Please note everyone should get back the $$ within 3 weeks after the 1st appt.

jj...why sobsob haha a naval diver will make him a strong man my bf used to be a naval diver also...tough but a different kind of NS experience

my 1 & oni bro mah..... we beri close 1, he wanted to go Air Force (pilot) but they nv get back lo (mayb he does not fit the bill lo).

He heard too much stories from my bro-in-law and friends. Hope tt he can make it........ and i believe he can lo.......

Hi JJ

You should also go to level 10 or 15 (by homemakers) and level 22 (another contractor), and then compare the flooring.

So far, I rated homemakers 1st , 22th level and last is 5th level.

Had requested for quote of budget 20K; level 6 ID/Contractor quoted us 28K. Sigh! Will wait for him to get back to us on a better quote before we go down to see him again.
