mmm Mine also doesn't have the push-button. now I know what you mean. I used to have that at my old place. MMmM I also had a lot of trouble with my windows and grilles. The windows couldn't close properly and the person assured us that it can be done without changing the windows... so we didn't change. In the end he had to come and rectify quite a number of times.. but ok la. lucky it's not dirty one.

WAH **** angry with the HDB woman... I had a good HDB technical officer who was very prompt in answering all my emails. I emailed her on Sunday to tell her that my electrical and water meters were all done because she said she needed to take photos of them. On MOnday (early in the morning) she replied, ccing the email to another colleague, telling me that the colleague was in charge of the photo-taking. I waited until last night... I have no idea if the person came cos the person needn't come into the house to take the photos ma. So I waited... then last night I finally decided to drop the person and email asking her when she was coming... She said she would come today. WAH LIAO if I didn't ask her, she was never going to come???? so angry. Just come and take photos only ma. If she want I can take 50 from all sorts of angles and send to her!

You can probably tell your wardrobe people you want to add some items inside and ask them to make the sections for you. LIke if you want to add in Ikea's basket you just give them to measurements...

Cost of area + stamp fees + admin fees (payable by CPF) - $2k Cost of moving water meter and electrical meter out of the recess (compulsory) - $700-$900 (haven't pay but asked contractor for estimation) Cost of lawyer's fees (my own cos I borrow from Bank) - $1k (estimate) Cost of CPF lawyers - $200-$300 Cost of renovation - $3k (estimate) My reno includes building of hollow block wall, moving of main door+ gate, levelling and tiling of recess, 1 full height shoe cabinet and one half height shoe cabinet + installation of light, doorbell and windows... Everything add up also not $8k leh...mm
