Hi GG, Your place look very spacious, 6 bedrooms for 2 storey house. My built in for the first storey is about 920 sq ft and my land is about 2500 sq ft. Hence, my house is occupying about 37% of the land. The interior of my house is actually quite small. How about yours in terms of built-in of the first floor vis a vis the land area?

Quite a good size for 4 room flat.

A&a Budget
leechaorui replied to Dereklsh's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
I know of people who use one person company to do construction work and the works proceeded very efficiently and the cost was kept low too. You may want to have a talk with your ID to understand the reason for the delay - lack of workers, materials, etc... The best thing you can do is to help them to hasten the work. If the ID simply cannot deliver, then the discussion would be to part ways amicably and get another contractor to finish up the outstanding work. Cheers! -
A&a Budget

If you can project manage yourself and do the submissions on your own, you just need to get a roofing person to do according to your specifications, I think you can save some money. For the interior, you can just get a wetworks contractor to help you. Just be careful not to remove any pillars. I think there are some recommended contractors from the forum. Cheers! -

Heard that a who does charity work and to always consider others' interests before acting would be able to lead a better life. This better life would help to translate to better luck in future.

Agree with your current contractor. You may want to run your wiring very differently and therefore, it may be neater to re-wire everything again. For the other construction items, better to itemized and cost them individually. The price for electrical works, plumbing, etc... looks okay. Assume that the materials used is fair, I would think that the overall pricing is reasonable.

Hans Goher Rain Dance Shower Head For Instant Heater?
leechaorui replied to alv777's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
For rainshower, I think it is better to use storage water heater. Was told that 15L tank it good enough for rainshower. Hence, the storage water heater need not be very big. I don't think you need to buy a landed house to install rainshower. There are many flats that use rainshower in the T/Blog and I think they have tastefully installed the system. Cheers! -
You may want to insert a flexible metal hose into the drain to unclog it.
-
You may want to keep the more expensive and/ or newer shoes inside the house.

My friend bought one set. He says it is okay.
