Prices between top-mount and bottom-mount sinks are not very different. You just need to look for sinks that are meant for bottom-mount. Full range of products and prices.

Thanks for waiting. I shifted in my flat about three weeks ago but unfortunately still haven't started using the LG washer. Reason: EzziLiving run out of stock for my Hi-Dry so we have no place to hang our laundry. My wife took the clothes back to our old house twice a week and wash it there. Finally we are going to install the Hi-Dry tomorrow so we will be using our washer for the first time on Saturday. Will let you know how it is like after that.

I am also using Aztech Powerline. Speed is comparable to wireless but not as good as Ethernet. (No point telling you the absolute number because you may not have the same broadband speed as me).

My reno is done by Ideal Reno. The tiling and carpentry are good, but plumbing, electrician, painter and windows/doors are super lousy. The windows they fitted are still leaking one month after the handover, and the rain water totally warped my laminate cozy corner. Tomorrow they are coming down to try to fix it, for the third time. (What's the use painting sealer on the wall when it is the windows that are leaking?) The painter care less about the place, the paint dripped all over the house and it took my wife and I a week to clean them off. The electrician chipped two holes on my laminate floor done by Supreme. The plumber made six trips to fix my leaking pipes. If you want to engage Ideal, make sure you get your own plumber, electrician and painter.

Go for anything but wood. My wooden cabinet in the toilet got termites after about 8+ years. Wood will fail eventually due to the humidity.

I got the EzziLiving Hi-Dry too. Installing tomorrow in the afternoon. Will feedback after one week of usage.

I recommend Supreme. I got a contractor to do my reno but Supreme to do the laminate for the three bedrooms. The contractor were careless and they actually chipped part of the flooring. Supreme came down and fixed it without any cost (or question). Price has gone down a lot so you could get it for a little less than $4 now for their best quality AC5. Check out my T-blog for the pictures of my bedrooms.

Really depend.... If you are buying a 50" TV, you must sit at a reasonably distance away from the TV. Of course if you sit very close to the TV, even a 32" will appear to be blur. Also depend on what you are watching. If it is HD, then it will be reasonably sharp. But if it is a normal free-to-air program, it might appear blurish.

No can't be removed with the polishing. ID said will use sandpaper but then long already still haven't done anything. Very disappointed with my ID, at first very on the ball. Now very restless. Things have not been moving for the last few days.

Don't understand what you meant. My plumber was able to remove the silicon from my water basin in just a couple of minutes. He basically cut it and then tore it out with his hands. It should not be difficult unless you are refering to some other kind of silicon.

Don't mind me saying this: spending more than required time in the toilet is no good. Prone to develop piles. By making your toilet more comfortable you will tend to spend even more time in the toilet. That might not be good in the long run.

This one die die must happen. Moreover my son having his CA2 in August, so we have to shift in so as to supervise his revision. Currently my kids live with my mum who lives a distance from where my wife and I stay.

Ok, this is what you do. Make sure the flat is in livable condition before 7th month. Then [symbolically] just live in there for one night can liao. After that you can move back to your existing house and make sure the ID does a good job on the rectification.

Got a quote from Kent while searching for ID. Kent is helpful and knowledgeable. The designer is not bad either. But proposal way beyond budget so didn't go with them.

That's the only major item left. The rest are almost finished (requiring some or little touch-up). ID said will take about 4 days to complete. Will drop by later at the new flat to snap more photos.

ID called to say that he is postponing the building of the platform to Monday. When we were there last Monday, it was pouring and water was seeping in through the windows. ID has gotten it fixed but not sure if it works.. So he wanted to wait for another raining day just to make sure that water will not seep in through the windows to the platform, as our cozy corner is built just next to the windows. Hope this will not delay our move-in date.
