Solar Film For Home Window, Where To Get?

due to fengshui purpose, we need to get solar film for the bottom part of our full length window. Any of you did b4? how long can it last before peeling off??

10years warranty, if peel can just ask them to come and replace

but it cost >$10psf

worth the price coz it really cuts glare and heat

What's the normal type cost? $10 psf is OK, coz the area we wanted to do is very small. Most probably less than $200 can settle liao

Do they have a variety of color to choose? we need green color hehe...

some curtain shops recommending VKool and 3M....

oh huper and vkool is by the same distributor

not sure if they have colour coz our main concern was the heat

normal ones think home-fix sell around one dollar something psf

another thing you need to factor in is the installation cost and transportation

mine was waived coz i did almost 80sqf

but if it's only for a small area, they'll charge $0.50psf for installation and around $50 for transportation

coz heard of the stories friends were telling us about films that shrink

didn't want the hassle of removing and redoing films every two, three years

also, want something that really cuts heat

guess for me it's worth paying for the quality

was quoted $15psf for the lower end of vkool, that's expensive

solar films like Huper Optik and VKool do not shrink....these films are used on automotives and i have used them for my past 3 cars without any problems not forgetting the environment of an automotive is anytime more harsh then home.

these 2 brands are like the BMW or Merz of Solar Films leow....if these dont meet the mark, I dont think any other brand will : )

btw i am not a Solar Film dealer or related to them in anyway, just a satisfied customer of Solar Films

I just did my whole hse with solar film (fengshui)... very satisfied! it manage to reduce the heat, UV and block out view from outside, give the privacy feel... if u need the contact, juz let me know...

anything around $4psf is good enough. Usually those film will give u at least 5yr warranty. U can ask those vendors' salesman to come to your place FOC to give u sample and quotes. they usually run around spore to get biz. They have green, blue, silver... colour is not a problem, only is cost.

VKool, 3M those kind are high end stuff, unless u have a deep pocket, then go for it.
