Sink and stove - Look ok to me but personally I dun like cooking with my back facing the kitchen door... cause if got someone come in the kitchen I also may not know... but its not a bit issue.

Washing Machine - Is your washing machine (w/m) in the common bathroom?? Look funny le cause long run maybe will spoil cause of the moist in the bathroom.. do consider another place to put the w/s if you can.

Lights in the living room - You dun need light above your tv... can take out 2 of the light just above the tv. Cause lights just above the tv will reflect on the tv sometime hard to see the tv show. I dun have lights above my tv unit so always look cozy at the tv area.

Lights in the bed room - I only have 1 light in the ceiling... maybe you want to consider again the amount of light you have in the bedroom. For my MBR I have beside lamp. If you are not going to read in the room then you do not need so much lighting.

Ceiling Fan in bed room - Erms... if you believe in FS its not good sleeping under a fan... its like cutting you like that... But for me I dun like sleeping under a fan cause feel very pressure like something is pressed on you.

Hi zerochristy,

Thanks for your comments.

I'm aware of the no. of lightings and ceiling fans i had in my whole hse. But I have no intention to on all at the same time.

The purpose for me to have both ceiling lights and downlights is to create two different atmosphere. Ceiling lights, to bright up all corners. Downlight, to create relax and romantic atmosphere.

Electrical wise, I'm doing myself, so cost wise I saved quite abit but time spent... Eh yet to know... =)

- Create a 45 degree solid wall in my kitchen, mainly to hang my dish tray and may be wall cabinet

- To achieve 100% utilization of 6 bamboo holders

Great idea!

- Full glass sliding door to divide kitchen and dinning area

Will this make your dining and kitchen smaller?

Is there enough ventilation for your common toilet?

Just curious, what software did you use to draw the floorplan layout? It's very nice.

TIA.

Hi Summerflower,

Thanks for your valuable comments.

The full glass sliding is to split wet and dry kitchen. Yes it might look small but stylo mah, full glass... =)

Common Toilet default layout is like tat and it's true that ventilation is a problem. I got plan to install cheap cheap wall fan in toilet.

For the floorplan drawing, go register yourself in http://www.floorplanner.com very easy to use, limited to saved 5 designs.

Cheers....

Very likely I will get my fans in Malaysia. Got to depend how much savings first bcos buying from Malaysia is equal to no warranty.

Fridge is my wife dreamed brand and price is my dreamed price, so bought. Same goes to sofa. :D

oh, why portable air-con?

from what i had gathered, it is anything but portable. :P

pardon my view, but using a mixture of downlights and ceiling lights will make the room look "unbalanced".
