Hi all, I am sure many of us has been buying stuff from amazon.com even before they started free shipping to singapore and even more so with free shipping for certain items. so i decided to start a new thread for fellow online shoppers to share their experiences and good/bad buys from amazon. For myself, i have been buying most of my households items from amazon for my new place. I was quite fortunate as i moved into my new place last june, which was roughly the same time they started free shipping to singapore. prior to that i have been picking up my amazon purchases from USA when i travel there for work and pay for shipping for bulkier items.

LEONJENNAWONG LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL PLAN - The dotted-lined circles are the locations of the ceiling fans - All electrical points are traced to wall switches (once again, very clear & systematic AUTOCAD drawing) - Minor changes since; - ceiling beams are now routed the other way to align to the same flow as my vinyl #Alsaflooring; and - there is now an additional track light that is to be installed at the ceiling beam area GAINCITY AIR-CON IS UP! I'm actually looking for decking vendors for my upcoming place - in total around 1000 sqf. Evorich quoted me about 23.50 psf for Accoya and Composite. Is this expensive? Other than Evorich, which are the reputable vendors in the market? Btw I will never use someone who is using underhanded tactics to blatantly promote themselves. If you can use deceit to push business your way, chances are that you will resort to unethical ways to get the business.

Relatively heavy but not to the extent it needs a strong man to push them open/close. they do 'rattle' abit when you push them but i guess thats the nature of cast iron? will pm you.

I totally agree. Initially I wanted to scrimp on this but ended up paying $30/ft for all my wardrobe, kitchen, consoles, basically everything that has carpentry to have a nice grey internal PVC.

Actually if my only requirement is to stream contents from the NAS, the TV or our phones are good enough and I can even live with no subtitles on the TV. Unfortunately, the TV doesn't allow me to install very specfic streaming clients for my football fix, so I will need an actual system for this purpose and that is where the NUC comes into the picture. It doubles up as an additional PC and simply offers much more versatility.

Yes, matter of fact $6k plus. Practically complete rewiring. 28 x 13A double point, 2 aircon switch, oven point, 3 way & 2 way switches, 6 data point, TV point all rooms and maybe phone as well. 1 x kill switch too, or maybe 2, new DB boxes etc. Anyway, now still "bleeding" badly..... Better keep your finger cross. You'll never know how much you are gonna add on. It is better to do more 13A, will comes in handy.

We spoke to Mr K from Ideal House. He is really good, asked the correct and relevant questions, quick to respond and pricing is really competitive. He was in our Top 2. So for folks interested to contact him, quite recommended. In the end we didnt choose him though. We decided to get a contractor instead for budget reasons. Can get same things done and good workmanship at lower cost. Only thing is you need to know the design you want.

I bought these myself. Electrician calculated the amount needed. 1 gang 1 way is about $3 and 3 gang 2 way is approx. $15. For actual pricing please call them and check.

Forgot the name but mainly, 2 shades of silver and white. You can mix and match the "cover" and switch but once chosen & paid, non exchangeable. Bought from Choo Chiang Marketing. Paiseh, I referring to MCB. Jus check online, the instant heater i planned to used is 3.6KW so base on calculation, 3600W/230V=15.65A, must use 20A MCB? How about HDB standard MCCB, 30A or 40A? Main incoming wires are 10mm rite?
