I wake up early for work ma. Then while having breakfast I will drop by here before I rush out. hehe Thanks thanks! Yup... not much choice. And we liked how it camouflages cos the casing is so white like the ceiling. Welcome!

Wah lights cost so much wor! But really looks very nice! When is the expected completion again?
-
Wah glad you got your bed at least and now you're rid of them. Very nice!
-
Wah white gloss looks pretty good!
-
But changing will be such a headache... but seeing the footprints all the time is horrible too. *sigh* Hope all goes well for you guys!

Wah the progress of your house is already quite fast... I do hope your bathroom stuff comes though.. Installation of those things will probably take a day already!

mmm I saw the HDB officer hand the cheque of $109k++ to my sellers on the 2nd appt.... yes yes a lot of money involved. I wouldn't pay the 1% first. MmM Actually if I were buying now I would negotiate the commission cos economy not good anyways.

haha that's exactly what my parents do now! Reading newspapers by in the airy balcony. I purposely requested for 3-track balcony glass so that a large portion of the window can be opened.

!! I just read properly.... 1st appt is mid feb wor. mm ok... I can understand why you say it's a squeeze.. We had 6 pple at our apartment at one time and I really hated the crampness and lack of privacy then. Sit tight! Things might change for the better!

Wahahhaa Good one! My mom always complains that I don't hang clothing properly. *no standard*
-
mmm $398 seems ok. I'm thinking of buying the recess area to let my mom install this retractable system so that things will be easier for her. I help her hang clothes most of the time but I dun have the strength to bring out the bamboo myself.. think in a couple of years time it'll be very hard for her. So trying to plan things to make it easier for her. You use liao then you tell me good or not ok?

I like how the kitchen opens to the dining and everything is quite open with some subtle obstacles to divide space.. nice nice! mm well mid Feb start reno also good.. after CNY. then you don't have a long break inbetween also. cos if start mid Jan then you have to rest two weeks. Now everyone spring cleaning I think neighbours wun be happy if the whole place is dirty just before CNY also... BUT of cos if can get early that's the best la. haha I know how the wait is a torture.

WAH the condition really quite old and most things are going right? I can't wait for the transformation too! I'm sure it will be a great one! -
Sounds like the making a real house together.

Silver, White, Pink, Purple, Brown.... The few shops along the same row have PLENTY of colours! but more expensive. Some $48 some $55

I paid mine during second appt. Some companies (like HSR) guarantee the sellers that the house is free of some structural problems like leakage and stuff so you can inspect the house for such things and bring it to the agent's attention before giving the commission. I've heard of people paying during 1st appt but I think it can be negotiated to the second..... and I think it's reasonable to do so.

Mine is White and grey with stainless steel backing. -
hmm I've been wanting to reply you for days... but haven't been successful.. House is still messy so cannot really take photos of the whole house to show off. haha I'll get it ready just before CNY. Your house really looks quite good. My house is near a school and though I cannot see the school from any of my windows, my mom claims is super noisy in the morning. But since we've lived along the main road all our lives we're used to noisiness. hehe Have you sourced for a retractable clothes hanger yet? Any good priced ones? I hope to get one for my mother...
-
heh plastic one dunno can spray or not... the light cost us $75. I liked how it is white and camouflages into the ceiling. The top is adjustable and allowed us to adjust for the Guanyin easily.

When my parents first got their EM fresh from HDB many years ago, they listed my great-grandma as one of the occupants. The ruling then was that if they got the flat "faster" through such ways they had to hang on for 8 years. Then, according to HDB records, we had 5 people living under the same roof with one more (the helper). But 4 years down the road, my mom gave birth to my brother. Then the pro-family plan for 3 kids came up and my parents successfully sold the the flat with permission from HDB, stating that there is too little space in the flat for so many people. Dunno if this helps.

Wah the blue-white tiles for the MBR very nice!! special! And the pipes in the common toilet really messy. I'm glad they can be tidied up. poor you.
-
wow your kitchen really looks spacious and plastered walls really look good!! Why the person at MGL like that??? mm but at least they tell you directly.. better than if they tell you they can do and they delay... that'll be worse... Hope to see nice nice pictures of your curtains!!

Thanks thanks! The sockets were placed after the altar. They were specially put there for the altar. My dad and 4 of the workmen argued for 30 minutes over the location of the switch and socket. haha So far the wind has been blowing inwards and if we forget to put something on our newspapers it does get all over the place. But about stuff going out of the window though...
