my FSM just did a simple check on whether the house is suitable for my family. then, when it is confirmed, he just make a simple recommendation on where to put the furniture and the colours to be used. Nothing much, and I dun ask how to increase wealth, health and so on. I just have the notion that less is asked, the less money spent. the more you asked, the more you need to do. and if u dun do it, you will feel so uncomfortable.

ya. me decided not to do with lights too. i will install a ceiling fan with light and another light in the living room. No need so many downlights in that case. i am very afraid electricity bill is high and once installed, dun use also a bit wasted. just need the L-box to cover the piping. Am considering the wall paper for the TV-console as I find not much use. And I intend my snooker ball clock on the wall and I dun wan to paste it on the wall paper. Have to see first. Not much money saved on wall paper if I decide not to do. But hopefully these two things will reimburse my decision to make a small bookshelf under my window in the MBR. Went to furniture shop to ask and it costs $600.

Just met uncle today to pass him the 20% cheque and the birthday present. asked him about the L-box without lights and he said we will discuss more in the new place on next Wed's night when the floor is hacked. Mom went to the new house to see if the owners move out already. Yeah. Moved out liao. Mum chatted with the neighbours and they are quite friendly. Wed getting keys. Going to choose furniture on Wed too. So excited. Going to pray pray on friday then "dong tu" on Sunday.

wanting to save on the lights portion, think next time electricity bill will be higher with all the downlights. maybe will do what you have done, a simple L-box to cover all the pipings. i am still thinking need wallpaper or not. if not, can save on it too. but if nice, can consider. or alternative is to use wall decals.

need to ask those who have renovated their house under uncle soon: 1) did u all do the L-box in the living room? 2) did u all do the tv console with the wallpaper?

hahaha. sales tactics are always like that. but my gaincity salesperson is quite honest la. she tried to backdate the tv's home theatre set for me. but when we wanted to buy, she suddenly remembered that we need to install the tv set first before claiming the free home theatre set. In the end, she advised me not to buy first and she will call to inform me of better promos.

as long as money is well spent is ok. i also spent like $700 today on kitchen and bedding accesories.
