Hello everybody!

Will be starting my reno t-blog for my new simple abode, since everybody's doing it :)

I havent taken any photos yet, hopefully in the weekend can go take some :yeah:

Anyway here's what happened so far :lol:

24th Nov - Collected keys

6th Dec - Confirmed with Baroque

8th Dec - Selected homogeneous tiles

12th Dec - Haulage

13th Dec - Tiling works begin.. expected to end before 31st Dec

I have also got a 21" Samsung TV, a Sharp Oven, and also already ordered a Simmons Special Edition for the MBR and a King Koil for a bedroom :)

Many many more to come :D

Hehe, its not a stupid question.. coz I asked this qn too..

I actually bought it from Ackerman & Smith.. its the name they call it for the Simmons mattress.. it comes with the bedframe and mattress protector as well..

We tried it, and my other half loved it a lot.. so bought lor :bangwall:

This weekend prob going to look around for the kitchen sink and maybe the lighting too.. any good recommendations? :(

I have yet source for sink, hob, lighting, etc...

I still waiting for my key.

And still waiting for my tiles.

Need to have final requote and pay 1st installment.

my suggestion for sink is decide what you want first

material - stainless steel, porcelain or composite (granite)

bowls - single, double or two + one

these two is quite important as that will kinda decide where you go looking :yamseng:

Lighting ... may I suggest you check out National Electric on Geylang Road. I think it's 459 - 461 Geylang Road. I was there again a few days ago to make my payment, and to exchange a couple of lights, and I noticed that they have just received some very nice chandiers. Their prices are so reasonable.

Sinks ..... I like Hoe Kee. Everything under one roof. No need to run all over the place. And you can ask for discount if you buy alot from them.

For the material.. not yet decided but likely stainless steel or composite i guess.. actually either is fine.. just have to feel how it looks like etc.. lol..

For the bowl, intend to have a double bowl sink :P

Yup they need to know the sink and stuffs etc for the cabinet before doing.. now still at the drawing stage.. will be discussing with them.. although tiling works have already started :drunk:
