Boon Lay POWER Nasi Lemak! by Makanology, on Flickr

Boon Lay POWER Nasi Lemak!

(Sorry for the horrible picture cos we jumped into the rice without much thinking and realized minutes later that we forgot to take pictures).

Why is it POWERful?

- solid chilli

- fresh chicken used for the yummy wings

- even the kacang has been stirred fried before so it has this roasty taste :)

The hammock spring is so funny! Er, is it meant for your future baby? :P

Kerosene lamp is good as a decor piece! Or you can ask Mr E to convert it into pendant light?

Haha we are quite old to do family planning lor!

The kerosene lamps, they seem very brittle. Mr E thinks he can crush them into pieces with just 1 squeeze. They can be wall-mounted with the really vintage metal plate as back support. Mr E says maybe grow plants inside and I asked "grow what plant? 豆芽?"

How does 1 hang a hammock in a HDB flat?

I bought two heavy duty hooks from a hardware shop and get my electrician to fix it on the ceiling using his power drill.

Saw 2 mattress warehouse sales going on this weekend - Slumberland & Dunlopillo. Are such sales worthwhile? Can they keep stock for 2 months?

We have set aside $1k for our mattress; hope this is enough for a decent mattress. Defintely not looking at a spring one as our current one is giving us bad back problems just after 2 years (maybe it is a cheap one?) exploring foam or latex ones but I am completely clueless! Any recommendations?
